So I got rear ended on the way home. I swear to god what is it with people. I don't even have my claim going from the chick who backed into me. In a school done fully stopped and the guy behind me decided to go. Scuffed my diffuser in two small places. Guy was around 80 years old with no shirt on. He says he was a mechanic and could fix it. It was way to hot to deal with and I was missed so just peeled off. Gonna go hide under a rock now.

Got a call this morning that her insurance is accepting liability and an adjuster will be getting with me to review my estimates.

They have still not been able to get a hold of the lady but the video did the job.

The sad thing is she is paying month by month, and if they hike her rates, she will probably drop it all together. I feel sorry for the next sob she drives into.

this is true,but it is really the only defense she has.
if i was responsible,i would do the same thing,hell i gotta live too!

they,(insurance carriers) own the country anyway,and i have to survive too,

try to keep in mind,it's "at fault" coverage,in that,IF you are careful,and someone else "hits"
YOU ,then THEIR insurance carrier pays..no additional points for you,and no hike in premium.

Her insurance spoke with the body shop and has agreed to pay half what the estimate was......

I'm gonna go through my insurance and let them fight this out. Total b.s.. ..

Same shit happened to me only not at a car wash.

I was lucky, In a nut shell this idiot in front of me (of course was a female driver-yes I loth my sex) Well she was driving weird-almost like on drugs? so I thought I better keep back, we both ended up making a left, while she was in the MIDDLE of the intersection(I was at further back keeping distance) She doesn't go, the light is now RED. Still sitting there, so she than decides to go in reverse only she doesn't go slow, she floors it! HOLY crap! I just reacted-I threw my car into Reverse and stomped on my gas(I forgot to check my mirrors, thank god no one was behind me)
Honestly I was seriously impressed with myself, It felt like something out of an awesome action movie.

I was lucky enough to have a warning that the person didn't know how to operate their car...man people suck.
