How's the Rogue? It looks intriguing enough to try out.
Speaking of Rogue, has anyone tried their Bacon Maple Ale?

I was at the store yesterday and the pink bottle caught my eye.

I went looking for the Imperial Rouge over the weekend and couldn't find it in stock, but I saw this and looked over the ingredients and thought to myself how disgusting it might be and yet I kinda wanted to try it out.

Haha that's exactly what I thought: "This can't possibly taste good."

I would maybe pick up a bottle just out of curiosity. Seems to have a fair rating on beeradvocate. Most of these crazy flavored beers are pretty subtle with the weirdness. Before I ever tried a pumpkin beer, I figured it can't possibly be a good thing, but there are a few that are now a fall time regular in my beer fridge. That's part of the fun of drinking craft beers...going shopping at Total Wine or whatever good beer store you have around and checking out all the cool stuff being offered.

I used to have the same outlook on certain beers with different ingredients and pumpkin beer that's done right, being one of them, has taught me to at least try out new drinks.

And I don't know how my friends will perceive it if I walk in with in a big pink bottle.

Well, I visited Holland, MI a couple of years ago and went to their local brewery. They had the best tasting beer I'd ever had, called Dragon's Milk. Sorry I can't get a pic at work, just Google New Holland Brewery Dragons's Milk. It's a dark ale, similar to Guiness, but around 10% alcohol.

Very nice! I have a fridge down in the garage I've been thinking of plugging up and doing just this. Having a mix of some awesome beers would be great.
