@FirestormFRS If the dealer makes it a stipulation to buy the car then is the dealer the one at fault then based on your logic?

IMHO...it's and aftermarket part. If it had (TRD) stamped on it that would be a whole new status. The dealer installed it. You knew it was part of the price when you bought it. You agreed to buy it with the kit. I just don't know how it could devalue the manufactured product (the car) when it is removable. Contact TMS and ask them to help you.

Further clarification from TMS is that the dealership "owns" the car when on their lot and can accessorize it as they wish. I confirmed with another dealership today that ALL of Southeast Toyota dealerships are adding every possible option to make every bit or mark up possible due to there being "little" profit margin (sham but he was honest).
@Firestorm - you are correct, it isn't TRD so it isn't a true product defect from the factory, however, due to it being sold as a required accessory with the car the dealer owns the issue during the maintenance/warranty period so it is covered completely for 25k miles. That being said, it's between me and the dealership. 5AD has been AMAZING and is stepping in as I prior mentioned to not only rectify my issue but also train the dealer how to properly install this for the future. I am giving the FRS to the dealer for as long as needed tomorrow to see if it can be straightened out once and for all. My only real concern is what is going on with the body underneath the aero kit with all of this application and removal (and body shop materials) going on. I'm going to take pics before and after with the latest botch job so anyone interested can see. My biggest recommendation to anyone wanting a 5AD kit would be to try and get it installed with a dealer that has already successfully completed one OR ask that they contact 5AD first and follow the instructions to a "T" because if not it can cause a nightmare situation (I've only been in posession of my car for 3/4 of the 2 months I've owned it). Cheers!
