Yeah, I'd love to get a TZ250! They are so much fun to ride especially on the small tracks around here.

Check out this vid of a Gixxer 1000 trying to catch a TZ! He'll catch him on the straights but the TZ has a much faster cornering speed!

LOL seriously, i hate hanging out with some of my subaru friends that are fan boys because they are pro wrx STI and anti-everything else.

Subaru with no awd and no turbo is an abomination to the world and their heads will explode with realities coming to a halt.

Only reason why i have a legacy is because i wanted a low cost, safe, economical, reliable, awd, japanese car to lug around my newborn child. The reason why its a GT 5spd wagon is for my drving pleasure.

Im a die hard Fuji Heavy Industrys / Subaru Enthusiast....

But I follow the routes of Subaru all the way back.
I like this concept and Its Just a evolution of what is offered for the brand.
Plus its the newest concept that im really excitied about. The new Imprezas/ legacys dont do it for me.

Some guys only see the WRX STi and Turbo Legacys... (in fact some guys didnt even know Subaru made cars before 1989 )

They have done 3 cylinder 2stroke Rear engine RWD.
There 1st flat 4 was 1000cc subarus were only front wheel drive.
They added selectable 4wd in 1973 in the 1400 wagon.

So I dont care if its RWD, front wheel drive, 4WD or AWD.


For me a true Subaru is powered by boxer engine... ( but will let the wee 2 and 3 cylinder inline units pass aswell )

Ive got a fuji Rabbit scooters ( made after WWII by FHI long before Subaru was around )

I would even have a Nakajima if I could find one and afford one

same, I do like the styling..but the fact that the next gen impreza and legacys will once again increase in size and weight to mid and full size sedans. It sorta sucks, but at the same time..thanks to FT86 ..this could offer an opportunity for subaru to explore lightweight and small chassis again for their performance cars. Making WRX STI a separate platform from Impreza might be something to consider. Id love to see a true successor to the 22b from Subaru.

But from your attitude you are a true enthusiast of subaru....not an annoying fan boy.

They Getting to big and heavy.
The Latest WRX sti with the wider guards were a bit of a improvement in the looks department... but still wouldnt want to own one.

When I 1st heard about the FT86 I was so excited and still am.
I started watching for info on the other FT86 site untill.
It will be the only new car Ive seen in a very long time Ive ever wanted to buy new... Thats saying something.

It may bring back a new lightweight and small chassis preformace Subarus... Heck it may even spawn a new AWD coupe if the FT86 proves to be exreamly popular and make subaru/toyota alot of money.


Subaru needs to bring back a few things.

Like what you just said, I too would like to see Subaru to bring back a new 22B.

Would also be cool to eventualy see a new SVX. Luxuary GT Coupe, goes good but beautifully handing. flat 6.

Subaru also need to bring back the brat/brumby as a single cab and twin cab ute. They sold so exeamly well here and in Oz.
There still guys going to the dealerships and asking when subaru is going to bring out a new one. They could sell so many here.

Id say the same thing about the North american market, a New Subaru single cab truck, with subaru's AWD would sell a great deal. If the Baja had been marketed better here in N/A i believe that would have sold better. Good beefy trucks are a big thing here in the US.

Id love to see a new SVX also, my neighbor has a 95 SVX. But i also have some reservations about a revival. Being a competitive 2 door sports car that previously rivaled the 3000gt, a SVX today would be have to be considered Subarus attempt at a serious sports car targeting near supercar status, and with a serious price tag. Theres no way i can see Subaru releasing a conservative SVX today when there are way too many similar cars that just do a better job right now.

I was amazed Subaru didnt offer the Baja here.
There is 1 Baja here in my city. Its only really a 2.5 Lancaster with the Baja rear put on. Nice looking ute tho.

Ive owned 3 SVXs over the years. Two JDM and one NZDM. All 1992s. Would love to get another.
The B9 Scambler concept sort of reminded me of a new SVX when that came out.
When the SVX was new in NZ you would pay such a massive amount.
In 1992 it would cost NZ $116,000
The SVX came at the wrong time. But it did show off that Subaru was more than a manafacturer of more than farmer/recreational/family type vehicles. And that it showed Subarus was into using the latest Technology.

Maybe Subaru/ Toyota could do another joint venture.. New Subaru Alcyone SVX/ Toyota Supra

If you're die hard FHI/Subaru enthusiast, then at least get STI part correct. Pre '07 is STi and '07 & up is STI my friend.
