$2200 is a lot, but if it's a big difference over what my last car with Tomei EL + OFT was, I'm willing to spend it.
It's actually more Hp/Dollar than a Tomei + OFT!

Probably not, as I don't feel it. I suspect its where the pull was started.

It's easy to make a histogram in excel with a data log of your rpm. Better yet only include data while you're 100% throttle opening. This would give a clearer picture.

If your looking for a N/A header that is one of the best bang for the buck I suggest PPE EL header. I had great results with that one. BUT the ACE header will make more hp than the PPE but not much.. Its truly you get what you pay for scenario. Honestly tho, If I need a N/A header I'm going to pony up for the ACE next...

When I was researching (before Ace was around) the same discussions were had around the Nameless. I did a bunch of work in excel and never found the best UEL to be making more power except over the shortest EL headers, and then over such a brief area as to be negligible. The Nameless was quite a bit better pretty much everywhere... Though repeatability seems to be a challenge for tuners. The problem with the data comparisons was finding examples with baseline pulls, and normalizing on that. Most other comparisons I've seen seem to skip the baseline and try to line up the header pulls...

I'd be happy with an Ace but can't justify the cost to change...relative to the long tube 4-2-1 EL I already have. I may be stuck on the tune side and no choice, eventually...

I would love to see a sound clip of that setup (ACE 350 with good tune + stock the rest). any chance? Does it drone or rasp in any way? Does it smell?

Well according to your website just about ANYTHING except a catback exhaust is better hp/dollar than the Tomei headers.

I took a wild shot and typed "ace 350 header" into YouTube.

No, the first hundred RPM can vary in how they look based on how you're ramping into the pull. That dip does is not something you would feel because it's not really there. :-)

In comparisons it's rarely mentioned that the ACE header also replaces the stock overpipe. How does the ACE compare to the top uel and el headers plus aftermarket overpipe?

Take a look at the second picture here: https://www.delicioustuning.com/Stage_2_BRZ_FRS_86

Looks like the JDL with nameless OP made some really decent numbers.
