Used a harness kit and had to get an adapter for the antenna.

Aftermarket GPS head unit for 86

The original for Aussie 86 GTS are made by Fujitsu TEN under the name of Eclipse. I used to be involved with bringing in units from Japan/China and Korean and most of the units now are all fully built or components made in China. Even some of the top brands are just final testing or facia fitted in Japan.
I am retired and getting a 86 gts in June but a mate who bought a std 86 wanted a good GPS that was a good match for GTS one arranged to get 2 units from manufacturer and I installed 2 weeks ago. Works and looks great.
I have still got one but he says someone wants it after seeing his. If anyone in WA is keen to look or purchase one I can get more direct from manufacturer, would be about $390 inc maps for Aussie and lots of features. If your interested and in WA then I can send you full details or better still, you drop around and check it out.
Can also to install it for a small fee, advice is free.
Get back to me for info

Would be very interested! curious to know what model/head unit it is. Unfortunately I live in Victoria, however I would be more than happy to pay extra for it to be shipped etc, if possible!

If you give me contact details I can email you details and if you want to I could send you one. Not sure of the convention about contacts on this site.
