If you really want one of their spoilers I'd say go for it, but get it unpainted, and have a body shop properly match it to your car so that any imperfections in your own paint color on white/silver will better match the spoiler on your car. The more I look at my car with it, the more I really like how subtle it is, and how it adds to the lines of the body by just subtly pulling the lines out.
And as I've stated over and over, I'm hoping that their customer service will improve after all of this, because the kit itself at this point is really on the right track. The instruction to install were stupidly clear to follow, and I had no issues installing. The provided adhesive promoter and guides were definitely helpful. I have no gaps, and it fits perfectly. Nothing is popping off either. So they've obviously overcome those issues as well.

GBS spoilers reportedly shipped today.
Upon my request Young claims to have upgraded the shipping on my spoiler to something more speedy.

just letting you guys know its very hard to color match the color of your car with out the car there.. it will usally be very close... if you want it to match you really have the paint blended in.. if your just going to paint a part and put it on it wil never match 100%
When you buy paint... there are normally a few variations of color tone.. to help you get a really close match. The white is the worst color to try to match.. and if its pearl that even worst. I have been painting after market parts for a long time and i can tell you this... it wont match perfect. IF anything its best that you buy the spoiler unpainted and have your shop of choice paint it. When i got my XB kit from them when five axis first came out with there kits you never had the option of having it painted. I been a long time customer and friend of TROY of Five Axis and I havent had any issues with them ever. They really take alot of price in what they put out to market and even the project cars they build for toyota.

You guys are expecting high efficiency and production from a low volume company. They aren't used to the incredible amounts of sales that the FR-S provided them. Not to mention a lot of the dealerships aren't installing them correctly and they have been working to perfect installation instructions so dealers can't screw it up. Their customer service also has been focusing on customers with improperly installed kits, that takes time with very few people working at their company. They also have been having shipping issues due to the volume of orders they've received. They are trying to get it done right. It might not be fast and they might not be in quick contact with you but it will get done correctly, eventually. I recommend that you call them directly and speak to Young if you want updates. Maybe try and get an email conversation going so other people can get their phone calls in.
What I'm saying is Five Axis is a top notch company in products and customer service, so just wait and give them a chance because they haven't dealt with such a high volume of orders like this before. They're slammed. Sent from my Nexus 7

Cool. I've got an E8H spoiler on order as well, was wondering where it was. Hopefully soon!
I'm not bothered by all of this. I understand FiveAxis is small volume and the cars are new.

So feedback was provided so future customers would know what to expect based on the experience of a past customer. Hopefully they read this as well, and take the feedback constructively, as I intended it to be, and use it to grow as a company.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Matt with Five Axis and FIVE:AD products. We have read through this entire thread and first want to say that we do appreciate the honest feedback from those who have posted to this thread, both positive and negative. Five Axis is at a unique stage of growth as a company. The business model that has been Five Axis' core competency still remains: providing innovative design and fabrication services for OEM manufacturers for concept and show vehicle development. Amidst maintaining focus on these services to clients such as Scion, Lexus and other OEMs, we have transitioned this innovative approach to automotive design into the FIVE:AD product line. FIVE:AD has progressively grown and become a large part of Five Axis as a whole, with this summer bringing us to a new level of demand. With the launch of the FIVE:AD products we developed for the Scion FR-S we encountered an influx of orders and attention that overwhelmed our current system. We worked quickly to respond efficiently from both a production and customer service perspective. Needless to say, regardless of effort, in some areas we fell behind. We sincerely apologize to those who were left waiting longer than expected for parts or left wanting information they were seeking for their orders. We can say that we have caught up with production demands and are working to build out our customer service channels to ensure that we stay out in front of future needs from both dealers and consumers. Product sales are a new component to our business and we are going through the standard growing pains and adjusting where needed. We have gone from managing a handful of clients/customers to thousands in just a few months time. We are confident that the time we invested to ensure quality of our product will be worth it to both consumers and dealers in the long run, but we recognize that these efforts must be combined with sound customer service. In the ways we let some of you down in our communication with dealers regarding your orders, we sincerely apologize. We hope that despite our growing pains, the FIVE:AD products you have ordered fulfill your expectations of Five Axis. We also want to let all of you know that we are available to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to contact us directly at info@fivead.net. We have made it a point to be as accessible as possible to those who contacted us throughout the summer, going so far as to call many of you directly with order updates. We sincerely thank those of you who have been fans of Five Axis concept and show vehicles over the years and now support us through purchasing FIVE:AD products. Again, if anyone has any questions or feedback, please do not hesitate to contact us directly either at info@fivead.net or via the Contact Us button at www.fivead.net. Thank you again for your support of Five Axis and FIVE:AD, for your patience as we navigate new ground for our company, and we look forward to seeing more and more vehicles equipped with FIVE:AD products.

Did anyone notice that their 5axis spoiler actually does goes all the way to both ends of the trunk lid? From pictures of earlier installs this didn't seem to be the case...
