I think you will find that the clutch on these cars is one point on which Ultra and my opinions differ.

The feel of a clutch is totally subjective to personal taste and driving styles though and there are 4 or 5 ways you can tailor that feel with these cars.

Yes, leave it alone until you are experienced enough to make an informed decision.

I've changed my tune quite a bit on this over the last couple years. This is my first forum/social media experience ever. When I first started, I didn't appreciate the differences in skill levels and viewpoints that people have.

I hated the clutch and made some changes. It's much better but it's still an oddball. Perhaps I'm more picky than others. I dunno.

HMMMMM my Dad told everybody he made the loader from scratch but here are two different pics of the exact same thing. Methinks he fibbed.

He built a 'kit car' before it was cool.

Just like the guys with Cobra's who claim their's is the real thing, your dad did it from scratch! Right down to vulcanizing the rubber.

At first (coming out of a Miata), I thought the engagement point was high, however, after a few days ....... I adjusted ......

Nah I always suspected he bought it and just altered it. It was way to well done and he could never weld worth shit and never owned a tape measure in his life.

It was great. I used to pull wheelies with it when the bush hog was mounted.
