It's cool. Just keep looking. Maybe save a little more or wait for the 2017 and see if the used market gets a little cheaper. Find something with under 30K miles.

Getting a different one. I wonder how the low clearance on this car will fair in these Boston conditions.

There is more clearance than you think. The car isn't tall but the ride height is somewhat normal. The short overhangs help a lot. At worst, you come in at a slight angle and cut turn the wheel a bit. Now, the car is stiff and you might have your teeth rattled out. How is your back? Do you have migraines? No? Good!

Not sure if my input could still be helpful since you've already made the purchase, but even though you have records of past maintenance you should still check the car if it was actually done. I bought my car with 70k on it and dealer said they did an oil change after it was traded in, nearly 3 months before I bought it. It was even listed on the car fax. But after I bought it I changed the oil anyway and the bucket was filled with black ink! The nice thing is though, spark plugs were done, a nice aftermarket clutch was put in along with new all season continental tires.

The color of the oil cannot tell you the condition of the oil. Oil turns black from carbon. Just a friendly heads up.

If you are concerned about the integrity of your oil, do an oil analysis.

When I turn the key in the ignition I don't know when to release. I feel like I'm holding it too long

Not a smart ass answer no matter how it sounds I just don't know how to say it any different.

The starter is still revving with the engine after you release the key? Something may be sticking, either in the ignition or in the starter engagement machinery.

Gotcha - I'll look at it later. Right now I want to upgrade the audio system with some JL Audio sub and a new nav. Any particular nav you guys recommend for Android phones? Not looking to break the bank - I'll probably have Best Buy install it.

The dealership put aftermarket brakes and lubed the shit outta the front brake hardware. Makes a bad groaning sound. I had it checked at a Toyota dealer and they said to replace pads and shims with factory parts and resurface the rotors.

I don't want that dealership touching my car even though it's under 60 day warranty. Unfortunately it's gonna cost a few hundred to have Toyota service it :/
