There is no bad reason for people to want more and people that are actually competing most certainly will need more but it is not something you will know until you actually drive it for a bit. Once you get bored or change your goals for the car then start looking to up it. Those published numbers can be very deceiving and a bit of a trap.

I was just thinking the only reason i would need 200+ is for track use. Just to be able to keep up on straights. There are no corners around here for me to take any faster than the car already can do and it gets up to speed imidiately for public road IMO.

I am still going to do a full exhaust intake and tune. let her clear her throat a little bit, but jesus i just got home 1115 pm from cruising and all i can say is the car rips so hard. It holds stupid good. It straight on the mazdaspeed i had but then again 300whp on a FWD car = careful steering/pedal work.

Yep intake, header and tune and don't give a crap what the numbers say and you should be a happy camper.

As of right now i sadly agree with this. Im from south GA so its not in my heritage to let low power go lol. LEFT TURN!!! MORE DIP!!!! GO NASCAR!!!
