A lot of salespeople know that if you take care of the customer after the sale...they will be more likely to return for future purchases and more likely to refer friends and family... So it in my best interest to NOT treat the customer like sh*t after they purchase from me...and if your the type of customer who's anal retentive over my grammar usage... I would probably turn you to another salesman the second you stepped on the lot lol...treating customers right and getting referral business ensures that I don't have to pander to demanding people... I can let the rest of the sales floor have fun trying to please the unappeasable

They are not Volkswagen parts. There is very minimal parts sharing between VW and Audi these days, unlike say, a decade ago. The only platform Audi shares with VW is the Golf/A3. VW gets all of Audi's older technology; the 2.0T they have currently is the same 2.0T in the previous generation A4's. So if anything, VW parts are old Audi parts, not the reverse.

As for sending your daughter off to college, yes, the Corolla will be less expensive to keep up. A Corolla cost under $20k new whereas an Audi A4 was $30k+ new. A Corolla is a basic sedan with low horsepower, 5spd manual or 4spd auto trans, cloth seats, front wheel drive, whereas an Audi is a luxury sedan with a turbocharged engine, 6spd manual/auto trans, quattro AWD, leather interior (the kind that still looks good after 100k, unlike any Toyota I've seen/owned)... Apples to oranges. Which would I feel more confident to get her where she needs to go? Either one, so long as they're maintained properly. Which would hurt my pocket the least? The Toyota, obviously. Which would I feel safer having a daughter drive? Do you even have to guess?

Good for you. I don't see a sub-$10k Lexus as being "classy" by any stretch of the imagination, unless you buy an LS400, bag it and put a Junction Produce kit and some 20" Works on it. But the bags, wheels, and kit alone would be $10k

HAHA nice pic lol i have seen my fair share of those roaming around..That's why I didn't put a price on the Lexus... I looked and nothing would be worth getting for 10 grand...and a testament to Toyota is the fact that a basic 4 cylinder corolla with more miles on it commands almost the same money on the open market as a luxury product by Audi with similar mileage, talk about resale value being important..But like I said I am a huge fan of Audi styling and would love having an S4 in my garage..As for the sheeple comment lol no I dont view customers as that....we all work hard for our money and want to save as much of it as possible, I get that, and at the same time if I'm making the second biggest purchase of my life I want to feel like I am getting treated fairly and with respect...I make the same amount of money on most Toyotas regardless of whether I sell them for MSRP or below invoice....I'd rather give people really good deals and work on volume than trying to wait for some sheeple to show up so I could bonk them over the head like clubbing a seal...Im just not that guy...I sleep good at night and really enjoy working with my customers...there are wolves looking for sheep, but they are pretty easy for any relatively intelligent person to spot...look for fancy sunglasses, gold rings or tennis bracelets, a face that looks like leather, and a husky voice from smoking a pack a day out back behind the dealer lol....a trick to finding a good salesman is to go to the dealer and ask for one of the dealer's top three guys...those guys dont sell 20 cars a month by chance, they treat the customer right and because of that they are always super busy, additionally, they usually work by appointment but thats good because then you know that when you show up, you are the most important thing to them

Back on topic - I was first in line at Ardmore (although picked up my car after the OP did - couldn't skip my daughter's birthday party and was too busy at work to take off during the week to run up to Philly). Put my deposit down back in April. Worked with David Yu and Rob Polett. The process was extremely easy - did it all by phone prior to picking the car up - David kept me up to date on status as he knew anything (which as we all know was not much coming from corporate). The car was kept segregated until we got there. Purchase was simple - only hiccup was that the ENTIRE state of PA's website for assigning dealer paper tags was down (Rob showed me the website) - but they gave me dealer hard plates to drive home and fedexed me the paper plates (along with a return envelope). Got the car registered with my old plates.

I'm a very satisfied customer and I'm a tough one to deal with. I would not hesitate to send anyone I know to Rob and David.
