You have WRX (Turbo). Of course you want EL Header.

I really don't care what it sounds like, although I'm sure it'll be some equal length goodness. Got the rumble already, I could use something else to please the senses.

If the FT-86 comes N/A then you guys can choose your sound.

burble stay UEL no burble go EL.

I've run both on a N/A EJ25 equipped RS and although the EL does provide better gains on the dyno, it doesn't sound near as good.

It would take some getting use to, but w/ the right muffler combo, I think EL could make a lot of you 4AG diehards happy.

I don't care about a burble, but I am hoping to have it set up to make a fine whine

For straight enigne fans, here you go.
Is this sound like boxer engine when it's in high rev area?

FYI it's not H4. It's H6 (NA) 320whp 276wtq @ 8,200 rpm (yes, boxer engine can rev that high). It's all bout tuning.

Very much love the sound of that engine @ RPM. Im a sucker for a revver for sure.

Possibility of a Swap? fitting would likely be an issue over come by fabricating new mounts, weight would maybe be questionable?

who knows, Im just spewing verbally.

Fabricating new mounts actually isn't the hard part. It comes down to interference with the cross-member, firewall, and the radiator housing, strut towers, etc. The fab part is usually easier than twisting your brain over how you're going to fit that oil pan around a chunk of metal.

FYI to put H6 in the Impreza doesn't need custom mounts or anything. it's bolt on. Only problem is just ECU/wiring, oil pan, Exhaust and those kinds of stuff.

I'm not sure. I think EFI Logic used STI 6sp tranny cuz 5sp didn't hold.
Like Matador said, that's a money question.
