thanks for that. I missed that info somehow. Im guessing the numbers spread even further apart once back to back pulls are done or on the street where the heat exchanger gets more air.

The spintex / bullet instructions are available on line and many of the parts are very similar, some may be the exact same. The install is not very difficult at all.

Thanks, didn't think to check there. I figured that innovate would documentation since they're selling it now.

There's some 'strange shit' going on with all the intercooler jive. Sprintex released their charge cooler kit with a Bosch 2.5 bar MAP sensor. This MAP sensor also had an integrated air temperature sensor. This sensor has the same linearisation curve as the temp sensor in the OE MAF sensor (Unicorn Tested (tm)). For some reason Sprintex didn't want to, or be smart enough, to do a one-wire change to enable usage of this on-a-plate feature. Unicorn spec does.

Rumour on the rainbow has it that Sprintex have stopped supplying the 2.5 bar MAP sensor and are recommending use of the OE sensor. This may or may not be due to strategy issues in the ECU.

Who knows what Innovate are doing.

Yours knowingly,
Unicorn
Just found this out the hard way. 2.5 Bosch sensor supplied with the kit is a waste of money, caused endless problems while trying to tune. Fitted the OE sensor back on, tuning could be done and car running smooth.
Fitted the IAT sensor with OE map sensor, no problems identified, sent in logs to the tuner to check.

One thing that does concern me with the Intercooled version, Is the power only seems to start kicking in properly from around 4500rpm, where I notice from the non IC it starts from 2500rpm.
Is this something Only I'm expiriencing?

I have no issues forking over the cash for this upgrade. I am a bit skeptical until I see actual members running this IC. As much as I'd like to be one of the first to get this I will sit back for a few and see what happens.

Dear Ryan86,

I think this will come down to your tune. Boost on the rainbow starts around 2000rpm.

Yours sincerely,
