Hey Jeremy, Like the new product. Have a question, did you guys route the runners so you can get tools in there without having to use a bunch of extensions, wobbles, u-joints, etc?

Except for the OEM header, it seems like every header has runners that get in the way of properly torquing down those middle nuts on each flange.

Thanks!

I don't recall seeing much, if any, complaints about Borla not making power. It's kind of hard to screw up a catless header so badly that it doesn't make more power than stock. The problem appears to be that their initial quality is atrocious. There were some sample pics posted that made you cringe, they were so bad. Make this piece look like it was built to deep sea specification by comparison.

Hey Jeremy, the overall design looks great! Are you guys planning to build a equal length version in the future? How about any kind of Thermo coating options?

Thanks!

reason for no flex joints? would that be an issue down the road? also, arms don't look as unequal as others or am i just seeing it differently?

Are you planning on making a front pipe and over pipe as well? It would be nice to have a complete exhaust system and tune form one company as apposed to a piece meal for each part of the exhaust.

Also, as others have mentioned, will there be a catted EL header?

Can't wait for more info, and video.

Not a fan of catted or weld quality.

We'll see what kind of numbers can be had and if the production version has good welds.

Good luck. Nice to see more options.
Yep. I gained 7whp from Drift-Office's tuning efforts on my car. 180whp on an automatic BRZ with only the Rev Works UEL header and a panel filter?

Hell yes.

Give them a break on the weld quality. Its a prototype. No one spends the time to make perfect welds on a non production piece. They were nice enough to even provide pictures so just be happy with that and wait to critique till a final model is made

All the doofs whining about weld quality rather don't know anything about welding, or do not have experience welding an application such as this. Welding submarines will undoubtedly result in welds that look entirely different.

The welds look fine. Don't listed to these keyboard warriors speedfactory. Thanks for posting and get the price/dyno/vid out asap.

They are technically UEL. I will get measurements here in a day or so. Lack of flex joints we don't see being an issue. Plus we'll have a nice warranty behind this to back it up.

We will have an EL one but that is probably a few months down the road. UEL as we have found seems to make almost the same if not more power, and retains a sound that makes the car unique.

Coating options will be available as well.

Will there be an option to put the factory heat shield back over it for us poor California folks that have to hide such things from the Smog Nazis?

I had knuckle joints and extensions tightening my JDL UEL... know exactly what you're talking about. Thankfully it's only 22 ft lbs so it's not very much at all, but it surely isn't easy to get to without proper tools.
