So many questions now.
Does Tsuchiya have any influence on the making of this car?

I think thats what Toyota needs to do (if he is infact helping with the car). Advertise that Tsuchiya is personally overseeing certain factors to the car. That right there, sells it to me, no matter what the final product is. If Tsuchiya says this -is- the spiritual successor to the AE86, I'm sold.

Urrgghhh, you just KNOW there's going to be a review session in a Hot Version video before the car comes out, with Tsuchiya's impression on the car. The waiting will kill me.
I'm hoping for this too. If Toyota truly wants to give this thing a true sports car image, having an icon like him attached to the car would mean a ton.

That's Tsuchiya alright. Hoping there'll be a clip of an interview with him about this car. Would love to hear his comments!

Here's other versions of the FT-86 reveal.

And some other videos from the show

I must have spent so many hours already looking at photos, videos, etc. of this car and I still want more!

Gah, we just need those engine-bay shots!

I still say they won't show the engine-bay because the actual D-4S boxer isn't actually under the hood.

Its either that or Toyota is just loves to be devilish and make us suffer.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure AE86 owner know who Orido is. Cuz Orido use to own AE86, but he's more famous for Silvia (S14), but personally when Orido pop into my head, his Supra comes up. Man, his Supra is so hot.

As for your Q. I don't know if he has blog site, so I don't know if he has any influence on FT-86 and I haven't bought Option mag, so I'm not sure if anyone ask that Q to Tsuchiya-san, but I bet we'll known from 激走G's new DVD.

But seriously, you know how many more % increase sell gonna happen, if Tsuchiya-san actually help Toyota & Subaru make this car.

Yes, it's gonna be in 激走G. That's why he was there. So in month or so, it should be released.

Engine under the hood is Boxer engine. I just re-listen to the opening rev part. BUT I think you're right, I don't think it's D-4S engine. I think just normal 2L boxer engine (they use in Australia)

Gdamn she looks amazing under the show lights. It'll be interesting to see if this is one of the most mobbed cars once the public can get into the show. I bet it will.

The Ridox Supra is an amazingly hot car, no doubt about that. When he brought it to the Touge Showdown in Hot Version, that was pretty humorous seeing that MONSTER of a car drive down the touge.

I love his Supra, of course other cars he had was awesome too. Ridox body kits are so sexy. If I had Supra I wanna put Ridox kit.

Anyways, I think I went off topic.

Dorikin is indeed short. He looks like a midget next to Taniguchi.

Height means nothing though in the presence of.....

Nob? IIRC isn't he 6'~6'1"? And Orido is 5'8"ish.

Yes, Nob got the height out of all, but Dorikin has the most aura out of all (but has bit of dirty mind lmao). He's 55yrs old and still can drive faster than any noob pro drivers. He seriously is a living legend.
