In your other thread you stated that you are a recent grad. Who and where was it that you got your diploma so I know to never send my children there?

Thanks.

Also, this thread is a little bit pointless honestly. But I think you got a just of what I was trying to say.....(even if i used the wrong terminology)

And, yes the moment others feel they need you to notice them and they try to up you, you have already won! So it is funny when a jackass reacts in that way to your ride!

The wraparound "eyebrow" lights are the BRZ's parking lights. There are no other DRL lights other than the lights right above the foglights. I'll post a picture with highlighted lights marked with lines just to be totally clear. Anyone who's been reading this conversation knows where these lines are pointed, to anyone who doesn't I specifically highlighted the wraparound parking lights in the headlight lenses.

So when do these parking lights turn on if ever? That is very disappointing to be honest. oh well, maybe some can program them otherwise.

You're despising people because they have a similar interest in a car as you. Then you are labeling people as hipsters and I don't think you know what a hipster really is. Then, in the other thread, you wanted to bore holes in your engine. I feel like the common sense trait is just not a strong point in you.

You turn them on with the headlight stalk, turn it the next to last light setting when turning on the headlights The symbol in this picture with the two lights shining three lines away from each other.

Joking aside, sounds like people care way too much about what other people think. If you buy the car because you think it's special or rare, and you feel good about it, who cares? It may be factually wrong, but if it works for them it works for them, who are you to try to take it away from people? What does that accomplish other than maybe raise up the exclusivity level of it in your own mind (maybe to justify it because you don't feel it justifies itself already?) If everyone in the world had one would the car's value change? Nope..

Just enjoy it for your reasons and let others do the same.

gt8613 I turn the parking lights on when it gets too dark for just DRL's but also too light for headlights. The DRL's and Parkling lights provide plenty of light in the front of the car in semi low light conditions since they also illuminate the taillights.

No, no & no!

I think if you go through the entire length of the talk then you will see some something very clear and specific. I only said I despise the fact that some people are going to get this car for reasons other than them actually liking it and rather because its the new hyped mobile. That is all.

If someone actually likes the car...then that person obviously does not fall into the above category. This criticism is similar to some adolescent not fully understanding the importance or utility of a said watch, car or some other item.

In regards to hipsters, well you are right....but to me hipsters are the same as mainstream people...its just shade a instead of b...
W/e that is how i see them and yes I do think I erroneous used that word interchangeably....you are right about that...but partially.

In regards to boring the engine. Well, I wanted to refer to the fact that Tada had plans to enlarge the displacement of the cylinders from 2.0 to 2.5.....and my question was whether such an action will mean that the na20 motor will have a higher potential power output than the na25. Because the only purpose of the na25 motor would be to increase stock hp and reducing the density in that way would damaged the integrity of the structure making it more susceptible to extensive pressure.

Austin is full of hipsters. So far the people I've run into with FRS' or BRZ's have been really cool, whether they're hipsters or not. Either way they are nice to talk to and wave at me on the roads when we pass each other.

Like someone said, our community is small right now and tightly knit. It would be better to welcome each other instead of bashing on a new owner. Bullying is getting out of hand in this country. Let's not add to that nonsense.

Agreed. And as for this car potentially being a 'chick' car (as mentioned in the OP), that's cool with me. Some of my favorite cars growing up have been so called chick cars.

For example, a 2000+ celica gts with nice rims and a tasteful body kit? Hawt.
