I get it too with my tC. I cruise at ~68mph in 65mph zones because it's less stressful (nearly everyone passes you, no work required!) without having to constantly be on the lookout for cops, not to mention you get better fuel economy. It's mostly other "nice" cars that get confused and give me dirty looks or pass around me at maximum warp factor.

get used to that shit. Loud=fast to most standard citizens.

I had an old couple jump out of the middle of the street when I was rolling to a stop in neutral in my loud mustang back in the day. They yelled at me and I drove strait to the front gate at my parents gated community to tell "security" that I didn't do anything wrong.
I got reprimanded but they weren't even using the cross walk WTF?

I miss the loudness of my brz soon all will be right again

i've seen that sig on another thread, made me lol.
had a guy in his 335i speeding on my left side as we were going towards a 2 to 1 lane merge. instead of keeping his pace and passing me like a normal driver would, he decided to slow down...right next to me, nose to nose. its a 40mph road and we get down to about 30 before he realizes its not happening. it's fun to be childish sometimes, just as long as its safe

I hate people with loud exhausts. I live right next to a 4-way stop sign in a 35. Everyone and their fucking brother decides to rev the shit out of their cars all the time. Motorcycles are the worst of all. Eating dinner? Every 5 minutes I get to hear how much of a ***got somebody is. Watching a movie? Chances are, I'll need to pause and rewind because your '03 Pontiac Bonneville with mad JDM tyte gutted cats and no mufflers made me miss some dialogue.

I make a point if I happen to be out front in the driveway to not even look at ricer pricks with fart cannons. I know all they want is attention, so I just turn my head (makes it a bit quieter too). Whenever I'm washing my car, I'm tempted to spray those douchecanoes with my hose as they drive by, but I don't want someone who knows where I live holding a grudge. And I get tired of the "well, I'm all about performance" excuses. Get a fucking electric cutout. It's cheaper than your de-catted, de-mufflered $1500 headerback exhaust, and it allows you to not be a douchebag when you're cruising through a residential neighborhood at 35mph.

My Berk single delete is a little loud for my taste so at least I know my limit. Will get a resonator welded in down the road I think. But seriously, anything much louder than that on this car is just too much imo.

I find 95% of aftermarket exhausts obnoxious, even when you are driving appropriately and trying to keep a low profile; it's still noticeable as evidenced by the OP and many others here retelling complaints they had received.

I'd rather be quiet and unnoticed than loud and noticed: neither dictates how cool your car is.

It's been out for awhile. Sofia Coppola, if you liked Lost in Translation you'll probably like Bling Ring. Hard to relate to for probably 95% of the general population.

Edit: Emma's character is an attention whore, you can probably find a more eye grabbing clip if you were determined.

you think exhaust is loud, try an external wastegate with a dump tube. Now that will make people go deaf on the highway. I've scared quite a few people because i drove past them.

Just proves that posers on V-twin motorcycles aren't the only inconsiderate people in the world.

Not right now, but I'll be back home around December. I live only an hour away from NOLA. We're probably going to have a little MS meet when I get back.

My exhaust is louder than stock, I have not had an negative attention though.

Sometimes I downshift when I am in someones blind spot

I love all the hate for v-twins and bikes...loud pipes do save lives. Even with my Vance and Hines exhaust on my buell is still have idiots almost running me off the road all the time...

When I noticed people in the past yelling at me for my bimmer or mustang because they thought I was going too fast I would usually down shift and floor it so they could really see the difference...then again I was a little younger then, lol.
