I think 235/40 fills the wheel well a little bit better. My personal preference, especially if you are still on stock suspension

I'm very happy with my 530s (18"/8.75/+33).

I'm sure they will look splendid on my Whiteout... when it arrives

235's are a better fit. The reason more guys choose 225's is due to the lower cost and greater availability.

Dig the color choice. I have a set of bronze on order at the moment! How much did your powder coating cost?

Curious, but do the XXR 527/530s come with matching center caps?

Are you running on the factory tires? That much stretch looks really unsafe.

he might be, but to think someone stretched a 7" tire to 9.75" is insane

Ok, I've got the itch for some rims/tires again and got a few questions for you guys out there. For the price for a set of 4 rims for XXR 527's is really like $520 - $550???!!! Looking at matt black, matt bronze or matt gold on my SWP BRZ.

1. I've been looking at the XXR 527's in 18 x 8.75 what offset should I be looking for?

2. Do these come with universal center rings? Do I need to source them myself?

3. Will the stock TPMS fit the rims? I'll probably have the stock TPMS transferred to these rims.

4. Would be fitting 225/40's on a 8.75" rim be too much of a stretch? There aren't too many choices for 235's and I'd rather not pay the extra cost for the 235's.

Anything else I'm missing?

3. Yes, most people transfer them
4. 225/40 will fit, same as shown below from the OP
