Wonder if the torque and power curve display would adjust if you made upgrades to the engine?!!?

Judging from my my extremely anxious drive home (learning manual & new car in traffic & small hills haha), i feel like the car has good power. Although i'm only coming from an 06 TSX.

i just checked the prices in Canada and it starts at $29,580 for a 86 but for the BRZ, the price starts at $27,995 for a 2017 base model. Do they have a typo or is this for real?

It's interesting that the mileage ratings went down by 1mpg for both city and highway from the prior year model. Is that due to shorter gearing?

That's all I meant, some people beat the piss out of the car right out of the box.

I didn't know if you hit redline yet.

Haha i might have accidentally revved it up to 4.5k because i thought i was in gear but wasnt. Salesman also told me that if I were to stall 3 times in a row, I should pull over and let the engine rest for a bit because its a new car.

Sounds like the salesman hasn't got a tit's clue of what he's talking about.

Just drive it like you normally would and you'll be fine.

remember shift open palm - dont grab the shift - otherwise youll go 3-2 misshift eventually as you yank the shifter towards u. not fun.

Don't forget to change your headlight fluid after break in, either. Critical.
