I know a few manufacturers that make 500kW 2.4 liter NA engines.

Mercedes, Renault, Ferrari and Cosworth... Well maybe the first three.

You didn't say anything about factory car. They're factory engines in open wheel race cars. Not much in the torque department though.

I agree with your comments. I've owned Honda cars before. Power isn't their strength.

You know im all for these 2 great new cars. About time !

But lets be realistic for a moment.

If there was a SC factory car , it would totally outsell the N/A.

Maybe there will be in the future.

But even if there was , SC or Turbo you aint going to see over 220 RWKW's

Dont kid yourself these cars are N/A 2 liters and slow in performance stakes.

In a few years time when they become more available as second hand cars , what out how much they will be getting

Well i know a fella here with a Rotrex K24 Atom and it pulls 1.6 g in a straight line. We are talking F1 speeds.

If this car gets fully built and a Rotrex on it it will get 400 RWHP . Price for the swap , HIGH but in real terms for money it will totally blitz a lot of cars as its 0-100 times will be less than 4.5 seconds.

Easy to get over 250 RWKW's out of a 2 liter engine, i have and will get a bit more soon.
What factory 2 liter has anything close to 300 KW's at the Fly ?
You have completely missed the point of the supercharger kit...

HKS made a turbo kit for the supercharged 4agze in the 90s. It used both together. That kit was $10,000 in Australia.

I would expect a cost around $12k plus for the 86

HKS Does not = Rotrex im afraid, HKS have been producing there own Superchargers in house for at least the last 2 years, yes the HKS supercharger kit will be more than a Rotrex kit and there will probably be somethin from china even cheap it all comes back to my favorite say the cheapest way is the most expensive way in the end.

how much is a LS1 crate engine or ISF-V8? 7K for a SC is retarded, probably going to sell to race teams or weekend racers only.

Are trying to say HKS SC is basically a rebrand?

Probably will be. Bent pistons are a common problem in Subarus even when stock.

ISF = forget about it..... The whole swap is near impossible. Electrical/tuning is the problem. So much so, Orido nearly gave up on his drift 86 project. Look it up, it's a very interesting read.

LS1 = cheap as chips. I expect this swap to be very popular. will cost you a bit more than $7k though.....
