I have been interested in a OCC or AOS for some time. After much extensive research I came across this unit which from a quality, cost and effectiveness standpoint is in my opinion by far the best option for the FRS both for NA an FI applications. I am planning to move to FI in the future but for now, would it harm anything setting the AOS up in the recommended FI configuration with NA? Also, I went to the website and could not find any discounted models as described above. I am assuming they are sold out but just thought I would ask just in case. These units are absolutely worth full price in my opinion, but I would love to save some money if possible. Thanks |

It does not hurt anything. You'll get slightly better crankcase evacuation running it in an OEM config but I doubt you would notice a change in MPG. Ideally, you'd want to run both hoses to the intake to get a bit of suction! That's my goal, or perhaps to check-valves to venturi tubes in the exhaust, haven't decided yet, but likely the intake. @VeloxEric
Where exacrly does the mounting bracket pick up? Does the mouting position play nice with the Ptuning water methanol injection setup?

That answers all of my questions. This will fit with the Ptuning WMI kit. I'm thrilled.

Just placed my order for this bad boy. Changing my intercooler this weekend so figure it would be a good time to clean out the pipes and install the AOS

Our very very early prototype design with 1k-1.5k miles of daily use, no abuse. So yes, it will benefit and collect oil, most definitely. Thanks, Eric Last edited by VerusEric; 08-09-2017 at 09:34 PM. |

In the AOS install instructions on PG 8 we're removing the PVC system that goes from the block to the intake tube. I'm running at JRSC setup and this goes to the SC intake tube (pre SC).
On PG 12 looks like green is to the AOS. Then yellow or orange (let's go with yellow) will connect to my JRSC intake. What does the orange connect to? Options are vacuum source or vented to atmosphere. Last edited by Bramick; 12-29-2016 at 05:59 PM. |

Forgot to update this thread! We ran another production run of these and they are back in stock . Blue came out great this time and looks phenomenal! They're also on sale till the end of the year .

Both yellow and orange go to the intake or are vented to atmosphere or are routed to another source of vacuum (exhaust check valves). This is described in step 2.13.1.4, which is quoted below: "The point from where the PCV valve used to go on the block typically is routed to the far left location (shown in RED below). The front block location is typically routed to the far right location (shown in GREEN below). The two inner ports, which are the outlets of the AOS, will go to a vacuum source, preferably, or can be vented to the atmosphere (shown in YELLOW and ORANGE below). Vacuum sources include intake or exhaust scavenging through Bernoulli’s principal." Thanks, Eric |

Vented to atmosphere is leaving it unconnected?

Sharing my Velox AOS install with Jackson Racing Super Charger (Forced Induction) install.
With Optional Drain Back Kit and Velox Cam Plate If I'm leaving one hose to atmosphere do I need to install the 3/8" NPT to 1/2" hose adapter on the AOS? I'm thinking no. If not I'm all set. |
