Yeah it really sucks to be a fan of old Ferraris and see one in that bad of condition with such few miles. If it had 150k miles on it I would understand the wear and tear. I think you would be safe to autox with your stock tires it really doesn't hurt them especially when you are first starting.

Yeah the OE tires are supposedly 240 tread wear, but they seem to be holding up too well for a tire of that rating. It's probably just marketing to make the tire seem grippier.
One thing that will prolong tire life during spirited driving is more negative camber on the front. The "crash bolts" are legal in stock class, will add some camber and take less than half an hour to install, even if you're slow like me. ![]() Plus I picked mine up from a Subaru dealer for about $9. |

some assclown rear-ended me on my way home from work today. Luckily no injury, but the car is gonna be in the shop for the next few weeks. Son of a bitch. I guess I will be taking a rental car to the autoX...

Thanks to Yruyur for letting me test drive his car on the e85 tune today! I think I may go with the flex fuel kit on e85 for now before going forced induction. There are still too many f/i kits coming out I can't decide on what to go with.
