haha ok understood... too soon after the big meet, I know. If not enough people can make it for a drive it's cool, I can just work on my car and get it ready for the next track day.

Thanks finch! overlookedx (who's a web designer I believe) has volunteered to help with the web design but we can surely use some input/ideas from anyone. but if anyone else has logo ideas we will try to have a final poll soon to decide what we want to go with. (btw pls don't assume that one of my designs are the one we will go with! )

To throw a stick in the design, can you rearrange it so that the needle is pointing at the "86"? I hardly go redline anyways, hardly.

Now to throw a tree at the design, how much longer till we get a final design? I have an idea at busn cards so a final design would be appreciated sooner than later. You guys are great btw

i think overlapping the needle with the warning light (which this would cause) would be kind of distracting/busy. But P can draw it up and get a poll going. Some really awesome designs, but at this point it seems like we could just keep nitpicking them.

Personally I also like the simple design you have in your sig as well

Agreed, just nitpicking .

I do like the original design (thx P for letting me use it). IMO it's busn card friendly, busn card viewed horizontally.

I agree, I don't think the needle over the shift light will look good. I'd rather leave it be (because it's less work ahaha).

how about this, anyone who wants to get a design in the poll, let's try to finalize designs by this Friday noon. Give it your best shot, if it's just a design idea rough it and if it wins we can further develop it. Send them to me or put them up here. And then we'll do a new thread with poll to start the voting. If you think you need more time and are serious about submitting an entry let me know.

From me, I will probably just have the 2 designs I've done so far, maybe with minor tweaks... LOL too many designs and I'll just lose by splitting my votes.

ok here is what I think is my last revision to what I've been calling design #3. A much simpler, cleaner style that I think will translate well to stickers, t-shirts, whatever.

well I think generally blue is associated with Subaru and red is associated with Toyota. See their racing cars. The orange represents the Hot Lava color which is unique to Scion.
