seriously people expect too much for a supposedly 20-25k car.. If this car comes out atleast 80% of what it looks like right now it'll still be the best looking 20-25K car plus it being a RWD and light is a plus

I want to mount it. Then put the money shot all over that SCION billboard on the trunk.

^^ It could be because the Scion community appears to be that of a new era Civic/Honda ricer community. It's not exactly respected. That's how I see it at least.

I dont live in the USA but if we had scion here I would be happy to buy that, unless of course there was a toyota version that looked sexier, Im not sold on the Front end of that scion or the exhaust pipes, I'd prefer them more Mk2ish

Expecting too much? Not if it is following in the same footsteps of the original 86 and has the same soul as it. Everything Toyoda has said leads to the above being fairly dead on. |

As I mentioned before in this thread, common sense tells me that even if this thing was badged as a Toyota, the price of the car alone would be enough to attract "ricers". It's unavoidable. Those of us with enough sense and decency will mod and customize our cars tastefully, or even keep them stock. I just don't see why some people are getting so worked up to the point where they want the car to fail. For what? Because of a damn badge? That kinda talk honestly makes most of them sound like children.

There are people here that know how to tastefully modify a vehicle. I'm pretty sure a higher price point than all the other Scions will keep most the "ricers" away.
