yap. went there, talked to Richard about the deal and asked a few questions.

he seems to be pretty upfront about it. it gives me a good impression.

unlike Subaru of PH, he have give me a rough est of 20-25 cars allocation. this is a welcoming news to hear.

also, we briefly touch based on the topic of price, he have give me a reasonable expectation on how much they will be selling the car for. i will not post the content of our conversation here, in order to prevent misunderstanding for forum members.

so the bottom line is, go and put down your deposit ASAP. he said he have 5 deposits already, his GM have 4.

Jai, what makes me sad was someone before I got there was putting a deposit too. And I made my deposit before him. And you were still number 10 and I was number 9! I hope I'm not getting randomly pushed back lol. But at least your deposit says number 10 =D.

Now I'm sad again lol.

I was working with Randy and not Richard if that makes a difference. Hopefully they're talking with each other about this.

The sales guy did mention that the BRZ would be at their place for just a couple of days, so if anyone wanted to check it out in person, you should go down (or up) sooner rather than later. The car looks pretty good in blue if I do say so myself.
I'm 6', and the headroom was... less than I expected. Hopefully I can fit in there with a helmet with no issues.

Good to hear hope everything turns out great when we get some sort of pricing

dont know. but i've seen rich put a big old 9 on my credit application forum as well as the folder he puts my file in under.

he said when the time come for pre order, which is next monday. he will be fighting with the GM to log onto the computer and pre order the BRZ.

either way, all we have to do now is to wait for all the chips to fall in to places.

Haven't been updated in a while - I tried catching up on what I could read but I still had a question for you guys.

1. Group Buy moving to Irvine dealership. Requires deposit $$ ? - Also is there any talk on discount on the vehicle or will it be MSRP?

yes go and talk to richard and put down your deposit $100 ASAP.

there is also a BRZ for demo for the next few days.

second. we have not finalize on the price negotiation. i suspect the final price and other incentive will be finalize once the official MSRP is release.

to give you an idea, the final price will probably be closer to MSRP than invoice.

Thanks for the clarification!

I wonder how much the $$ will be vs. the Scion Pure Pricing =T

But I guess if the deposit is refundable it won't really matter. Decisions decisions....
