While I am not certain, I am pretty sure its the HKS boxer spec header with the Subaru STI Japan BRZ exhaust.

GReddy EVOlution GT

Anybody try this one out yet? I'm highly considering this one but I would like to hear some reviews before I go for it. Whats the drone like? I heard the EVOlution 3 had tons of the drone in the cabin and I'm not with that... Also on a side note how hard is it to do custom burnt tips? Are there places that will do this for me?

@ slyphen

Looks like an STI muffler & a VERY expensive one at that :| I think he also has the Boxer Spec UEL header plus a tune to complement.

part # ST44300AS000

If you mod the stock muffler (by just emptying it out), you get a "race car" result:

While not as aggressive at most of the exhausts coupled with headers it's definitely a huge bump in volume! Any details about the process of "emptying out the muffler"

Thanks!

actually my friend did the work, so I only have the explanation.

we cut open at the OEM welding point, open up the muffler, where you have three perforated pipe, one from the midpipe coming into the muffler, two for the exhaust tips.

they go from one side to the other.

alsi there are three walls in it, which are also perforated.

cut out the middle wall, cut out the pipes, take two 44 or 48mm pipe (90 degree angle), weld the pipe together, close the muffler add a second plate under the weldibg points, weld everything together, done

it is very loud at cold start, sounds like a awesome V8...if warmed up, at idle it makes a sweet subaro boxer rumble, this is caused by making one pipe minimal longer than the other, normal and steady speed and rpm, it sounds like stock, at idle it does not sound like a hybrid or tesla model s, give it a blip of throttle and it sounds perfect, no tinny rice sound, in a tunnel...holy shi*...the perfect exhaust for me, sounds better than 5zigen and co. for 1/4 of the price (building it, just paying the man working hours)

Hey everyone. I have a small request. Does anyone have a Borla UEL paired up with the stock OP/FP and a Q300 catback? I have found a few videos with a catless fp and I would just like to see the comparison. I find with a catless fp, the exhaust sounds a bit tinny/raspy ( [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4AL1if_E4I"]Frs Borla Uel rev - YouTube[/ame] ).

Also, how is the volume inside the cabin?

Cheer!

I've heard many times full catless = tinny. Need a cat in the fp to help or get rid of it. I haven't confirmed myself yet. Still looking for a catted fp
