A couple people have asked me what my exhaust (Catless front pipe/Q300) sounds like on a cold start. Decided to make a quick video. Outside temp was around -20C (-4F) and I had the car plugged in for a couple hours (over night temp was -30C/-22F).
There is a bit of distortion that happened after I uploaded it to youtube, but you get the general idea.

Is there a generally accepted "order of increasing loudness" amongst the catback exhaust systems?

for example- stock then Q300 then ... then ... ?

I realize if you mix in catless headers etc then that makes things more complicated, but just for the catback systems?

Just wanted to share my new setup. I chose the Stromung Axleback to pair with my OpenFlash Header.

Heard of this company from designing exhausts for the older Imprezas. I was impressed with the sound from them.
These in-cabin vids are filmed with my S4 so it doesn't capture the pure refined sound in real life. Some background noise as well as my phone was placed on top of the cupholder. I found the perfect setup for me, it's loud when you get on it and tame when you want it to be. Noticeably louder than stock. The rumble is real. Highway is pleasant but it's not quiet to the point where you forget it's there. I can hear a subtle rumble just cruising.

I paid a pretty penny for an axleback but I am way above satisfied with what I got. Exceeded my expectations. 10/10 wood bang.

I will try to get a driveby video as well as the sound from outside when weather permits but for now... enjoy

Does anyone have a sound clip, preferably a drive by or cold start, with the set up: UEL Header with stock over pipe, front pipe, mid pipe, and Nameless 2.5" Axle Back with 5" Mufflers? I'm curious as how deep the tone or obnoxious/loud the volume would be. If not UEL, perhaps an EL header? I just want to gauge how loud everything will be, once I find a used Nameless 2.5" AxleBack for sale in my area. Thanks!

Can we add

Not mine, but found on Reddit.

Setup: Stock headers, Tomei Over Pipe, Front Pipe and type 60s Catback

Also EcuTek canned map, but i don't know how different the sound would be from this.
