Looks like it keeps the mk2 fender "grill". Which would make sense for the Subaru variant to have that "luxury chrome grill" on it.

I just don't see 2+2 in this pic. Lol There would be no trunk to fit that "extra set of wheels", unless it was a liftback.

Yes towards the top of the housings. Not sure if it will make it over to US.

I'd like to also mention the license plate is now different. from 2 weeks or so ago.

This might qualify for false advertising!!!

I could see a 2+2 but sucks for the people that have to sit in the back!

these new pics have basically convinced me this thing has a trunk and not a liftback...

notice the antennae on the trunk lid. it has a wire going into the trunk/cargo area. if this was a liftback, the rear window and trunk lid would be one piece, nowhere for that wire to go.... you could say that there is a hole there just for the wire. or you could say they snaked it around the bottom of the window, etc. but all these sound like excuses more than reasons. the simplest, most obvious thing is that it has a traditional trunk...

also in these new pics, the large piece of tape on the top of the rear window is missing. there was speculation that it was there to hide something to tip off the liftback design. in these new pics i see no such thing. imo the black border around the rear glass looks like it isnt wide enough to have a frame behind it.

last but not least, that third brake light... imo its starting to look more and more like a production piece and less and less like a tacked on test piece...

we will never know till its released just like the audi A7 which was supposed have a regular trunk and now in production form it has a liftback. But the A7 carries the lines of the trunk to mask the hatchback look so it possible.
