Recently found out there's a station only about 1 mile away from my house that has E85 pumps. They're pretty uncommon around here, so it's interesting one just turned up so close.

Really wish sometimes I hadn't had such a fiasco with the tune a few years back.

it started so simply...

this used to be an ion job rocker plus. my dad found it in the garbage, it charged, but the bluetooth wouldn't stay connected for more than 5 seconds...

now it's going to be a dual-voltage--power cord/milwaukee m18 battery powered, fm/bluetooth, usb-c, 12v power outlets, 100x2 amp, 2-way crossovers, new speakers, and new paint job...

OK, I had to look that up - I reckon it replaces the boom box?

However, I'm confused as to what you're making out of it -

it was a boom box that worked poorly. i'm making a better-er boom box at 4x's the cost, and many months of effort.

I tried buying something from an Esty vendor. Never again. The interface is garbage, the return/help process is convoluted, and the order of reviews are intentionally disorganized/randomized (not by date, not by rating, not even alphabetical) to prevent you from making any sense of them. That place is a mess.

It was initially a market for artists/crafters to expand their footprint and reach. Given the challenge of surviving as an artist, that was helpful.

It's turned into a way to peddle cheap "crafts" which are copycat/farmed out garbage; basically those street vendors who spread their wares on blankets along tourist favored locations, just online. I don't know anyone that tries to use it to sell any more.

I'd be happy to have e85 within 30 miles. I currently have to drive an hour into downtown PDX with my truck and fill all my fuel cans up. I found a place that sells it by the barrel that is similar to pump price here(about the same as premium) and am probably just going to start blending it down to e40. The stuff by the barrel is exactly 85% while the pump is usually about 70%.

Lol, I can very quickly find Almeria on a satellite view on (pick your favorite map app)... With Norway also in view.

I always thought it was a weird salt flat or something whenever I scrolled by.

E85 is pretty common here in NW Georgia, as is E0. A lot of Mom and Pop stores have E0 but it's expensive. There are probably 4 or 5 stations on my 40 mile commute that have E85 including the station I normally fill up at within a couple of miles of my house. It's usually about $0.10 cheaper than regular. and about $0.50 cheaper than 93. I use it almost exclusively in my flex fuel Suburban and my son uses it in his Focus (also flex fuel).
