2nd Annual Mid Atlantic Curry Meet January 18th 2015

Curry Meet at MemSahib Restaurant in Rockville, MD.

Nothing warms you up more than some Hot Naan (Boy is it Hot) along with some curry, belly dancing, beer and good laughs. Sure its cold, its winter, but that shouldn't stop the meets around the DC/MD/VA area from happening.

Last Year's event was awesome and lets all do it again this year.

Day: January 18th, 2015
Time: 5pm to 9pm
Cost: $30 Per Person give or take what you order extra
Duration: 3 to 4 hours
Courses: 7+ Including tea etc
Style: Couch/Lounge Style
Entertainment: Various members dancing with the Belly dancer!
Spouses and Kids: Welcomed!

Final Reservations will be made by Mid December

Was going to prep the car for winter today, grease the thrust bearings and spray everything with fluid film. Got the rear done, but couldn't get the top nut to come loose on the first coil, in the process the damping adjustment seems to have gone out of alignment and now it doesn't stop at full hard like it's supposed to. Decided to not chance it and just throw the stock suspension on to be safe. Then the end link on the other front coilover stripped out. :mad:

Ended up having to go back to stock suspension and end links on the front, will have to switch the rears over tomorrow and I guess send the coils for a rebuild.

At least it's winter..

I got hit last month by some fool merging into my lane on a dark, rainy morning. He took off so I had to chase him down and block him on dead end street, but believe it or not, the vehicle he was driving had insurance, so I got paid. Now I'm thinking I need some running lights on the roof or something because I drive on that same street every day and people are constantly jumping lanes. This is the smallest, blackest car I've ever had.

My 911 call was for a hit and run but when the cops showed I gave the kid a break and said he was just looking for a proper place to pull off. By that time we had cooled off and were rapping about how he works at a Toyota dealership and is a big fan of these cars. Sure, I probably should have stuck to the hit and run, but I caught that punk, so I was satisfied.

Could always have that in the report, then decide whether to press charges later or not. State doesn't have much of a case if you don't testify, and they'll probably not push such a small incident themselves since nobody was injured. That way you could have kept the heat on him so he's up front w/ the insurance company statements.
