I do not personally know of anyone; however, given the construction I would not hesitate to run it through a winter. With the splitter itself being a hard plastic, it should fair well with all elements, including salt and snow. The aluminum is all hard anodized which actually penetrates into the aluminum, increasing the surface strength significantly and reducing any corrosive effects. All hardware is stainless steel, so it should not rust.

Hope this helps you some and hopefully someone will chime in on how it did through winter. I know some people that had them on in NY/Midwest but a lot of people do not drive these cars year round.

Thanks! I figured as much that it was probably alright. Pretty mild winters here anyways, just more concerned about the rocks and salt on the roads.

Just like any part on the front of the car, the leading edge starts to take a small beating over time. However, with the race upgrade, the aluminum component takes the brute force of it and being hard anodized, the coating doesn't chip away. I've hit some curbs (by being careless) pretty hard and it still looks fine . Haha, definitely scares the passengers when you come to an abrupt stop.

Received my front splitter and race upgrade today after a week of anticipation and... no hardware included to actually mount the splitter Nowhere to be found at all. Super let down.

Dig around inside the box. When I got my rear diffuser I thought I was missing half the hardware too, I dug around in the bottom of the box and it was stuck in part of the packing material.

I did just that. There was a separate box that the race upgrade came in which had all the hardware for that portion. I am staring at the box the splitter came in and there is nothing. Was literally just the box. Much sad. Hopefully they can overnight me the hardware.

Everyone is human and we all make mistakes from time to time, sounds like they just missed the hardware bag. Should be a simple and swift fix .

Sorry for your troubles though, this will be the first time I've heard of this happening so it is not common.

Yup I know, I am not blaming anyone there. Just expressing my sadness as I have no one else to express it to haha. Waited a week, guess I can wait a few days more.
