probably because the demand for this type of car in New England as far less than it is down south and out west. Most people will likely maintain a winter car in addition to their FR-S or BRZ, as I can not imagine getting around in one during a brutal New England Winter. I don't care what kind of snow tires you put on it, low RWD cars and blizzards never blend well. Not to mention this car is very light, which makes the snow driving that much worse.

I see Mustangs getting stuck all the time, and those are really heavy cars.

I am just amazed that Manchester Subaru was even allocated that many BRZs.

Wasn't the allocation of BRZ determined by the dealer's WRX sales? I can see how an AWD car would be more popular up north while a FR car would be more popular down south.

Yeah this dealership sold the most WRX/STIs in the country. I think it may have been a mistake on Subarus part to do it that way because like you said, demand for the WRXs will be higher here and demand for the BRZ will probably be lower. Hopefully it means it will be easy to get a deal on one though

Its funny how things work out like that, but that was the best news to me when I heard about that a long time ago. So at least there's one nice advantage from living up north.

That sucks. I figured there'd be some left in SC, eastern TN and north Florida (although that's a little more than 2 hours I guess, not much though).

Spoke with the dealer today which said that the SC dealers only had 1 BRZ allocated each. Chattanooga, TN (the nearest TN dealer) had 3 allocated and sold those very quickly. Didn't check in Florida, which is a bit further away.

As Rabbie mentioned earlier, the BRZ will probably be more popular up North as the Subaru BRZ allocations were based on WRX sales. The Scion FR-S will be easier to find down here.

A quick check in the Atlanta area shows 17 Toyota dealers, 11 Scion dealers, and 6 Subaru dealers.

He didn't say using cruise control. I've broken new cars in with long drives, I just took backroads and varied the load.

This was going to be my plan if the deal I had worked out with my original dealer hadn't turned into a dealer blacklist thread. Now I'll just be picking the car up a couple of miles down the highway instead.
