Clutch looks good. Should put a brz logo on the car and confuse people.

That engine looks awesome you can really tell there have been more than a few long days spent working on that! Can't wait to see it all together.

Thanks! I can safely say that I've put more hours into the motor then I have in the rest of the car. Come summertime, I'll be installing a custom fuel rail that's currently being made for me and with that I'll be getting larger fuel injectors to handle a larger turbo down the road.

As of right now I have no idea on what kind of power this motor will be making when I get it running.

I was scanning threw your build and you really left nothing alone on that motor. How big of a turbo are you thinking? I know those engines can really hold some pressure and get some really incredible numbers for HP.

I'm thinking of just doing a T3/T04 hybrid turbo to keep the spool time down. The turbo on there now is a full T3. I'm limited on boost from both the turbo and injectors. And these motors are capable of holding 500HP on the stock internals but that's pushing it. With just a turbo upgrade and injectors 450 is easy.

I should probably add that if you do a stroker build, and take the stock block to 3.1L you can get some serious numbers. These motors are then capable if 700+HP in stroker form. They are no 2JZ but they can hold their own

I fabricated my own short ram intake. I just ordered an aluminum honeycomb air straightener to place in front of my MAS to give better MAF readings to the ECU. Best addition to any cold/ram air or forced induction intake system! I might fabricate a fresh air duct later.

Have a nice foot long crack in my windshield. wonder if I just trade in the car with it like that or fix it first.

Wonder if these cars have a lot of flex on the windshield frame. Would think the convertible version would have more with less roof for support.

Have you fully decided on what you want, lol? But I don't think it'll be a problem, just say it happened the day you took it in.....
