Mine is up front and no problemos on cruises with racing, road trips or traffic plagued driving. Have you looked it over fir issues? Granted you have a 35 vs my 20G.

SBD and loving it. Makes about 270/200 on 10psi with 91 and no issues. Must be ok with modding crash beam, purchasing ECUTek license, gauge(s) for your comfort (I have a o2 and multi gauge) and borrowing/buying an ECUTek cable for loading the supplied tune.

So far my only cooling mods are the APR cooling plate and oil cooler. And I'm not 100% sold on the necessity on the oil cooler. Well we will see once we get into the summer months and I continue it race it as much as I've been.

If I were looking at going big (well over 400whp) I would give a serious look at JDL and their setup. I have noted some issues but they appear to be growing pains but I'll continue to keep my eye on them. P&L & MAP are also worth mentioning. Full Race is making a little bit of noise about getting into our arena too.

Seeing the issues in the beginning with FBM early on is what kept me away and them having all this time to fix issues is what have me doubting. Perhaps it's the big # pursuit. Perhaps it's the customers. I'm not sure.

My advice is be realistic. Map your end game and the decide on what it is you wanna accomplish. Is it daily driving with a huge smile? Is touting hp #s and all top end? Is it circuiting the road courses or drag racing? Do you have a second car so you can afford to park your 86 while working on teething issues? Decide and then make your choice on the right setup.

Im one. Had the Fullblown stage 2 installed for about 2 weeks now.

@Boss Paco

I think it has to do with sub par fans honestly. either that or the received a batch of faulty ones.

either way it should be fixed come Wednesday

I was thinking Sbd (OKC is only 2 hrs away)for location purposes but then realized that wont matter once i get a new home station.
AWESOME info lol i appreciate it. those number are pretty sweet they're about what im looking for i want 290 on 8psi or what ever 8psi gets me on 91 lol fbm kit makes 276 210 i believe on 91 @7.5 psi. im going all out on my kit all the extra options minus the 1000cc injectors, the fbm oil cooler, and the fbm catch can and im on the fence with a GTX28 and a GTX30.
ill be buying it next month so itll be ready for me to install when I'm on my R&R. when i get it all setup we should meet up! l lol.

did you have all of these things and your fans still got damaged?

Nope. The police don't allow us to congregate.

But seriously, try searching locally or other social media. This site is rather dead for Okies.

You really should look a bit harder haha. There's quite a few around. This forum is pretty dedicated to the 86 platform, but there are numerous out there in OKC. Glad to see you decided on a kit also!

I haven't yet. I'm waiting until I return from my vacation to get the SBD kit. I'll have around 16k on the car by then.
