Thats interesting. The ecm grounds itself through the mount I wonder if this has any potential issues.

The nutcerts should still allow it to ground just fine. The OEM piece is painted steel and this looks to be powdercoated aluminum though. Might scrape some of the powdercoating off where it bolts to the motor to ensure good metal to metal contact.

I don't know about real life but when I put the nur spec wing on my GT6 BRZ that shit was amazing and now I want one in my life one day. At least it costs over a G so thats enough to put me off while I get more track time under my belt.

LOL that vid is fucking awesome.

I remember seeing your posts before you got the car and thought to myself, "man this guy is on some crazy weight savings mission".

It's awesome to see what it's turned into thus far. Props.

The wing helped a LOT with just spirited street driving. I actually don't think it would help a while lot with track driving, unless the track was really hilly, rough, or you just have a bajillion horsepower. But I'm very happy with it. Would buy again.

Haha thank you, sir. I still have a long way to go. I probably won't get into the good stuff until next year, so shit hasn't even gotten real yet. Stand by...

awesome thread is awesome.

how much work would it be to have the TI exhaust modified to work with an axle-back muffler setup? I'd go to the track, take off the muffler, put on a straight tip, and off I go.

I have no clue. You'd have to talk to a shop or welder about that. You could always try running an open front pipe. No clue how that would sound or what it would do to your power though. Free to try.
