I see. I guess this payout from insurance isn't negotiable right? I read that you can negotiable with the adjustor if you think the settlement is too low, but i guess that only applies if you bought or financed the car.

You can try but doubt you will get far.

See if you can buy back the wheels...

Edit. Looks like you had a winter set.
Interested in selling the summers?

Given that the adjustor already wrote off your car, it's likely too late to talk to him. The best time to do so is when he is there looking at it but they are not obligated to listen to you whatsoever.

It is ironic that I have met about 100 of the NorCal crowd but only 2 from London.

Hey guys, please count on me if know of any meet at the London/KW area, please.

Live in KW, but work on Woodstock, so for me as long as weather permits, like to attend one of this meetings!

Facebook for me is not an option, since I don't have Facebook! (I know I live on the Neanderthal era!) I'm not young as more of you guys (you can tell, no Facebook), but still love to drive and love my 86!

Unfortunately not. Finance would like the next vehicle to be a SUV for the future family. I guess this accident kind of worked out in her favour lol.

If you have to get an SUV you can at least find something with a bit of zing. Test drive the Hyundai Kona with the 1.6T. It's no BRZ but feels fairly responsive and nimble. I think it's also lighter than most SUVs in its class. Good luck with your new vehicle
