I plan to go to both! Went to Solon last week. They had ton of nice cars.
By the way.... Does your son get to park next to your Spyder?

No, it is not worthy!

j/k Actually, he rents a house from me so he has his own garage to park in. I am trying to get him to come to the C&C or Solon but he does not like to get up early on Saturday and he works well past the start time of Solon so I am not having much luck.

I know the feeling. It's hard to get my son up on Saturday or Sunday. Hope the weather holds out for C&C. See you in the am if it does.

I am not sure I will make it to tomorrows's C&C. I am doing some tweaking on the Spyder and I have to put the injectors back in. One of the insulators showed some damage so I ordered a new set but they sent the wrong one. I had to go to Toyota this afternoon to get the right ones but I have not put the car back together yet. I will definitely make Solon if the weather cooperates.

Edit: I had a "Murphy's Law" type of night working on the Spyder. I will not make the C&C nor will I make the Solon meet. I will be waiting on parts that will not be in until later in the week.

Trailer that B!tch! JK, sorry about your misfortune, man. You will be missed.

Looking foward to tomorrow, if the weather holds off! (50% chance of scattered t-storms tomorrow) I've only seen a theme week postponed twice in the past before, but here's to hoping we don't have to worry about it! :happy0180:

Hey Guys the C&C last Saturday was great. A lot of new shows were there. Sorry I didn't get pics. Look forward to the next one. Also looking forward to the drive down to the 555 this Sunday. I actually talked my wife into going. That way I will be safe. can't drive nuts with her in the car. Hope to see you guys tonight also.

And the good news is that the rain chance around show time is only 10-20%!

I'm going to try to leave work a bit early, plan on being there by 6 at the latest (I hope). We can try to park as a group, but its not the end of the world if we don't. I for one, like the contrast of looking over a brand new Viper in one space, and in the next is a mint-condition '57 BelAire.

Just an FYI, we will be sharing the them night with some classic Buick/Olds/Pontiacs. Be polite to our classic enthusiast brethren!

A few notes on decorum:

1) Keep it classy. Don't be afraid to turn up your stereo, but don't be obnoxious, don't scream in and out of the cruise, and overall enjoy the atmosphere and what are some truly beautiful cars.

2) Listen to the guy at the entrance. Again, since we are sharing the theme night, he will tell you where to park, usually in the first few rows.

3) If you get there later, there will be a lot of people wandering around. Be patient and give the walkers the right of way, within reason of course

I know a lot of this goes without saying, but remember, we're still the new kids on the block. We show respect, we get respect, and continued invitations back.

I'm thinking about trying to show up tonight. How many people usually go to these meets? I've never been before :/

I have an appointment at 5 so hopefully I can drive down from downtown quickly so I can find a spot...

Also, do you guys ever wipe down your cars there just to clean them up a bit?

If the weather is good, you will fill the lot (~500 cars). But on average, probably 200-300 cars, and people coming and going

I will usually do a little TLC at home (I live ~5 miles away), then a little detail work at the lot. Nothing wrong with taking a little pride in you work

Also, I should mention that you can submit your car for judging to win awards from the various sponsors, registration is very cheap (like $1 or something). The prizes aren't amazing, just a plaque and some bragging rights
