Tile guys were putting up the back splash yesterday, I think they are grouting today. Also today, the cabinet guys are putting all the handles on and making sure every drawer etc. is perfect. All appliances are here. Microwave, stove top, and oven were installed Tuesday, fridge and dishwasher today. I actually might be able to cook this weekend! For the first time in my adult life I will have a dishwasher that is not on wheels, and a fridge with an ice maker!

Insurance is $700 per year. Hangar is $175 per month Annual is about $1,000 Taxes will be $500 a year Everything else I consider running costs, which I'm pegging at $100 per hour since I'm going heavy on the maintenance reserve. Maintenance may be a bitch as it's a bit older and is near TBO, but compression is in the high 70s on all cylinders and it is using a normal amount of oil and since I'm using it for leisure flying I will run it over TBO. This is really part of a two part trade. The seller is interested in an incomplete kitplane I have and is taking it in trade at my full asking price off a more than fair price for his plane. Since its easier to sell a "real" plane than a kit, I'm thinking I'll fly this for a year, then use it towards an upgrade.

Nothing more than a '81 SC with a 993 engine and some body work with back dated bumpers. WAY over priced. |

Oh don't get me started on modern front load washing machines. I've had 3 in 15 years. All though my wife does have that thing humming all the time. I don't know how to use it. |

Welp, it's that time of the month - again.
Ma-ma is off to the beauty shop for her monthly "long" appointment (two hours). So, it's just me and the toddler. We took a walk in the woods (our wooded back yard) which was going just fine till she decided I should carry her back up the hill. Oh, my poor aching hips. Then she wanted to take a walk down the street - waaaaaay down the street. We had a disagreement about her walking in the street. After dragging her, screaming back out of the street, a couple cars slowed down and glared at me. Damn, what I wouldn't give for a strong bloody Mary about now - pa-pa humfrz |
