Got rid of the silver that was bugging me and painted my interior trim grey. Cant capture the true color on a picture but its way easier on the eyes than the silver.
Also painted my braces.

What paint did you use?

Looks very clean!

Thanks! I used duplicolor for both the interior pieces and the braces. Just scuffed em up with the fine scotch brite, wiped em down with mineral spirits and sprayed 3 light coats, wet sanding with 600 grit before the final coat.

I love seeing the pattern created along the side thanks to the airflow. I could see doing some sort of paintjob based on that line.

Can you notice a difference in wind noise or anything or are they mostly cosmetic?

I wouldn't call it a huge difference, but it is noticeable. The stick just seems to want to go to the next gear, particularly any combos that cross center (2-3, 4-5, and vice versa). It's just very easy now.

It was worth the small amount of $ and mucking about under the car for an hour or two. (Actually it was free for me, Xmas present!)

Did a few fun things over the Christmas-New Year's break:

December 22 - had RS*R Sports-i Coilovers installed at RS*R in Santa Ana. Really nice guys there!

December 31 - Got an alignment and corner balancing done by Chris at West End Alignment in Gardena. Great work and another really nice guy!

January 1 - Joined SouthBay86 in their Last Minute Caravan to eat at a tasty Thai buffet in Harbor City, then winded our way up a nice road to Rancho Palos Verdes. Such a beautiful day for a nice drive!

Is this towards me? LOL

Found out that the Silver Ignition color is a three stage silver. It's in the body shop right now, won't be done until Tuesday.

It took about 2 hours to color match it with test sheets.

Just remove the 2 coolant lines going to the TB and connect them with a 90 degree barb... it's probably a useless mod, but it's less heat to the TB.
