So most people running this kit have a built engine? Or are running low boost on 93? I’ve already got headers and the OFT tablet..:

I'd say for sure most people running any c30/c38 kit do not have a built engine. Hell that's the selling point of the kit for some, including myself. Reliable power. Running stock pulley and 91/93 is one of the safest options for forced induction on this platform imo. Tuning wise oft won't cut it. You will need at least an ecutek e-tune if not a dyno tune.

So if I have the funds in the future, is it a bad idea to get this installed after the factory warranty expires? I’d rather not be in a situation where the motor blows and I’m in the side of the highway OR a situation where the supercharger dies and I have to tow car to my installer, have them uninstall it, and have Rotrex send me another one in 2-3 months or whatever. Even if you have the money, that’s a lot of hassle.

Maybe I worded that wrong. From everyone I've ever read about tuning for forced induction, ecutek is the best way to go. Oft is possible but not ideal from my understanding. If you are already invested in a supercharger/turbo kit then ecutek should be the only way to go. Especially for e-tuning and dyno tuning.

Between 11-12k miles on it. I too suspect a pulley, but a elementary inspection didn't reveal much. I'll pop the belt off and take a better look at the surrounding pulleys. Thanks.

Hey All --
So I'm getting ready for my JRSC install on my tS in the next month or so. I currently have purchased: JRSC C30 JRSC Track Oil Cooler JR 4 Bar MAP Sensor Moto-East Flex Fuel Kit DeatschWerks 700CC Injectors DeatschWerks 300C Fuel Pump Velox Fuel Starvation Door Radium PCV Catch Can Forge BPV Is there anything else anyone recommends running? For background: I am currently running JDL Catted UEL, JDL UQ FP/OP Combo Pipe, and Perrin 2.5 CBE. I am very much up in the air about running E85, given that it seems to push the limits of what the stock block can handle; therefore, I'm thinking of holding off on doing that install at this time, unless I hear some reassuring information. Other option is I'll have it installed and tuned for both E85 and 93, and just keep running 93 until I'm ready to make that jump. Additionally, Mike from Moto-East/Xero Limit will be doing my tune, which after many discussions with him, I'm very comfortable with his capabilities. Thanks for the insight guys, and I'm looking forward to joining the JRSC group! |

My main point of commenting was about Mike. He was/is a great tuner (did my JRSC) but is he still working? I thought he closed up shop last year. |

Yup, Mike’s new operation is Xero-Limit. He’s still doing tuning under the Moto-East banner, but the online shop is now Xero-Limit. I purchased my C30 Kit, Oil Cooler, and Tune through him, and figured since he’s pretty close by, I would bring it up to him to do it all in person rather than remotely. |

Just got my recall notice for the valve springs in today, anyone have any input on having the dealership do this with the JRSC installed?

I'm in the same boat, in the past when I had the dealer do warranty work they charged me for the removal and reinstalling the jrsc, it was 200 hundred bucks at that time . As far as this and the recall I have no idea but was wondering same as you , if you get any info please update us ASAP please . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Of the various cars I have owned this car has been the most receptive and easy platform to fix literally bolted on my JRSC tuned it using the CARB tune and have been rolling happy for 14k miles no probs.
