Thanks, humfrz! You got that right - truth be told, most cars are a lot better than their drivers, including my FR-S. I'll go to better rubber (same size) when the gumballs that came on it wear out. And it's just crying out for a "better" exhaust. But that's only to make me feel even prouder when I look at her rear end and hear her purr.

I already added the critical pieces: a de-badged rear and a very tiny set of my initials, like a lover's tattoo in an out-of-the-way place. They're good for a half second in the quarter mile.......

Thanks humfrz! I originally wanted whiteout base model but then the salesman asked me if I was colorblind. I said no then he left to go get the car. My friend Jon made a bet that he is going to drive a Hot Lava FR-S because he knew that color was my second choice. Next thing that happened the salesman pulled up my car which caught my attention and my friend was laughing when he pulled up my car.

Not so new here, actually joined a while ago but haven't been on since the beginning(caught some flack for not being an owner yet). Finally took delivery of my brand new baby, a 2014 Suby BRZ 6spd man in WR Blue Met on Mon. 03/24/14. From what I'm told, I haven't stopped smiling yet LOL=-) Looking forward to the future here at ft86/frs/brz!!

Hello Everyone!

I've been lurking on this site for a few weeks now and since I finally purchased my 2013 FR-S i thought it would be a good idea to join.

This is actually the very first Forum I have ever joined. I wanted to thank everyone for the great info in the DIY section.

I'm currently living in Atlanta GA originally from Chicago. I recently purchased a 2013 FR-S from the chicago land area and am excited to start customizing it. I was fortunate the previous owner only put 6k miles on it in over a year and actually installed the Perrin Cat Back system on it. SOUNDS AMAZING!

Looking forward to chatting with everyone and learning more about these awesome machines!

Hi guys!

I'm new.
I stalked the FR-S since I first heard about it in Sept of 2012, and finally purchased it this past Feb.
Every single one of my friends, coworkers, and family are glad I finally purchased it, since I now talk about it slightly less than I was before ;P
I'm in the A2 area, but might be relocating in the next 5-6 months. I have seen plenty of twins around, so I know I'm not alone around here.

Definitely want to do some minor moding, since this would be the first car I've owned worth moding..

Super excited to join the forum, since you all seem likes such nice people
