Salinas dealership usually has a frs out. but they were a bit of hassle for me... they screwd up multiple times with my papers and had to be in and out of the dealership several times within a month... and out of rage and impatientness i got the 2nd color i wanted raven, wanted a whiteout. black is so hard to keep clean. but its alright. i got a couple of free full tank gas from them and still got 1 left.

Had no luck with a test drive this past weekend except for Piercey in Milpitas (on Friday). Got to test drive a manual in the raven color. It had an aftermarket exhaust package, but the dealer also showed me what the stock exhaust note sounded like using an automatic in hot lava. They also had a firestorm/red auto.

From Saturday:
Putnam Scion in Burlingame- manual in whiteout, auto in raven/black, and a manual in argento silver
Putnam Subaru - manual premium in WRB (i think it sold already)
Carlsen Subaru - manual premium in galaxy blue, manual limited in lightning red, auto limited in crystal black
Fremont Scion - manual whiteout, manual firestorm red

That's quite funny, I walked into piercy a month ago and talked to the fleet dealer guy -- not sure if it's you. Not sure if you're from piercy, but they sounded like they didn't care about my business. Guy took my number down and never called, waited too long and got fed up. Too bad because I walked out the door and went to capitol. They not only got me the car I wanted but kept calling me to ensure i was okay with the car.

Their customer service isn't the best, but I haven't had a good experience at piercy ever since My camry got f-ed up there and I had to fix it myself.

I paid MSRP (no ad-ons) for my FR-S from Peircy back in July with no problem.

They did have one on the lot for $40k at the time too. So I guess they are fucking ruthless asshole pricks willing to unfairly gouge anyone for extra GP (gross profit), and nice guys all at the same time. I guess I got lucky.

I think that tends to be the case with the huge dealerships, really depends on who you deal with. I got my FR-S from Tak Lam (the fleet manager) and had a great experience with Piercey.
