Fairly excited, although I am worried that the car will be too loud... apprehensive about it. But I will deal with that when I come to it. Maybe a servo-activated auxiliary muffler, haha.

I forgot you were doing that all at once.

I just bought a tsudo catted front pipe, and if my JDL UEL header ever gets here, I will be just as nervous about it being too loud.

Kind of sucks because the exhaust is PERFECT now with the ARK DT-S exhaust I have, but I want the header for power/subie rumble. The front pipe was an impulse buy, still not sure why I did it

dammit. the nearest e85 station is 20 miles from me (one way). when i go fill up there now i usually bring 3 6 gallon jugs so i'm getting ~2.5 tanks per trip. i'm going to have to start petitioning local gas stations to start carrying it. My gf didn't seem too pleased when i was looking into getting a 100 gallon barrel delivered to the house.

I can't wait to see what a full dyno tune for max power on 93 looks like with your mods. Should be pretty beefy if Moto was able to get 225 whp on stock stuff.

Yeah I'm thinking about 225whp and I should have that here soon. I have a few trips planned and waiting to get my oil cooler in and on. I'll wait until the next time I have to go back to Pure Automotive so I can run on the same dyno. I'd say the power is most noticeable in the low-mid range on E85. I doubt the peak HP number is off by more than 10-15hp.

I plan to get some data logs next week (full 93) and have Mike take a look over them.

A 70mm pulley is tempting looking at Robi's dyno plot. Also exploring Aquamist WMI vs the Innovate Intercooler (still waiting for more developments on both).

Looks like I'll be doing VIR in about a month!

The tune that we (Delicious Tuning) is offering is designed for 91 octane, but will take advantage of 93 octane also, especially on the top end. Though if you do tune for 93 octane you will see in increase in horsepower of 15-20 horsepower and about 10-15 ft/lbs torque over the current tune. So my best guess should equate that to about 230-240 wheel horsepower on a dyno jet with 93 octane.

I will be offering custom tuned upgrades for people running 93 octane at no additional charge, though the car needs to be stock with the Innovate Supercharger kit.

Even our base tune for 91 octane will take advantage of higher octane, headers and exhaust system and should see increases of about 5-10 horsepower without changing a thing.

Cheers,
William Knose

I would hope theres a difference from 93 to E85

No stations near you or something? Why did you switch back?

Can't wait for the smaller pulleys to be released.

20 miles one way (and out of my way). Plus I want to polish out the 93 map (or make sure it is). 17mpg on E85 hurts a little too.

Especially when you burn 2.5 gallons to go get it.

Having some fun a little more than usual (quite a few WOT data log pulls) but not like a track day. I bet it would be like 19-20mpg normally.
