After the ride along Friday, they ordered me a new transmission but promised that my car would be safe to drive in the meantime. They were going to call me when the new transmission arrives. The next morning I was on the 55 fwy and my transmission got stuck mid shift, around 75 mph. I released the clutch and it wouldn't come back up. Well the good thing is that you're going to get a new transmission. It sucks that it broke down and got stuck.

All though we might not have weekly meets we do try to have as many as we can. We don't have a set location so we bounce around through the entire Inland Empire mainly Riverside/San Bernadino/Ontario areas. We do have a Facebook page. http://facebook.com/socal86clubiechapter
A lot of the IE 86 members attended Irvine meet on Tuesday. You are more than welcome to attend. We will posting the location for the meet soon once we get some ideas from the rest of the group.

Cool. We have been at the Irvine gathering for about a month now with our BRZ. We were planning to spread ourselves out to show off the BRZ in person to those that may not have the chance to cruise down to Irvine.
I know we met a good handful of people down in Irvine and Chino Hills, and even at Scion Nights.
