And who's to say they didnt test it with windshield wipers?
They don't have windshield wipers or side mirrors on the cars when they windtunnel test them. I don't know why other then they're trying to find out what the basic shape scores as far as drag coefficient. And they test all of those little tweaks, they just don't always share the results with us aeronerds .

I'm very impressed with this model compared to the MKII and looking at the rear SCION plate, that thing looks like it can be swapped out. :happy0180: Good job indeed!

Well then that would be considered ricey...

If it is a 3rd brake light, hopefully it won't pass US specs!

On passenger cars, the CHMSL may be placed above the back glass, affixed to the vehicle's interior just inside the back glass, or it may be integrated into the vehicle's deck lid or into a spoiler. Other specialised fitments are sometimes seen; the Jeep Wrangler and Land Rover Freelander have the CHMSL on a stalk fixed to the spare wheel carrier. Trucks, vans and commercial vehicles sometimes have the CHMSL mounted to the trailing edge of the vehicle's roof. The CHMSL is required by regulations worldwide to be centred laterally on the vehicle, though ECE R48 permits lateral offset of up to 15 cm if the vehicle's lateral centre is not coincident with a fixed body panel, but instead separates movable components such as doors.[15] The Renault Master van, for example, uses a laterally offset CHMSL for this reason. The height of the CHMSL is also regulated, in absolute terms and with respect to the mounting height of the vehicle's conventional left and right stop lamps.[54] Depending on the left and right lamps' height, the lower edge of the CHMSL may be just above the left and right lamps' upper edge.

K, this is I can tell you guys from the interview (which my friend did).

He said that this ver is over the top concept of FR-S. "what an enthusiast might do..."

so that means, all those crazy stuff (like rear defuser, huge brakes & etc) will be prob be gone.

That's all he told me so far...

That could simply be unplugged and deadended or you could put a strip of LEDs saying w/e. Not a big deal Ichitaka. Though you would have to build a plate to cover the gaps and hold the phrase. And you could run the wiring through the holes and then just weatherproof the whole thing.

I figured that would be a case. Those would probably options that you could add on for a price or possibly could be supported by after market companies. I could see the brakes, wheels, led headlights, interior nav/upgraded audio, maybe even a suspension/drive train upgrade, and hopefully a turbo option. Im getting the feeling it may be like the Audi R8 in which everything is a purchasable option.

This version is near perfect. The re-designed rear haunches match well with the front wheel arches and fix what I thought was the biggest design flaw in the second version (ignoring the obvious concept design elements). Hopefully the production version keeps these new body lines pretty intact.

They ruined it by putting the Scion name on it. I really would love this with a Toyota badge.
