So, is anyone running a DS twin this year?

I will be running D Street unless I find a buyer for the car.
No pros, local NT, maybe Nationals unless I find a ride in another car.

I'm running DS again this year, but just regional events. Thinking about moving to Solo Spec Coupe (SSC) class later this year or early next year.

I'm on the fence. I have a set of Bilstein body/Penske internals 2 way remote dampers sitting on the shelf which I've never had the chance to run, not to mention enough Rival S tires to get me into mid-summer at least. Unless I sell a bunch of that off or a great SSC contingency is announced I'll probably be in DS and take some SSC co-drives when available. IIRC Scroggs indicated he would likely still be in DS this year. I think he will still be the one to beat and IMO the twins can still get it done in the right situation.

It will also be interesting to see what happens with the proposed changes to DS for 2019. If those go through I imagine that the twins would be re-classed out of DS, maybe to...HS?

I am 90% sure that I am switching to DS from CS this year, but I will be in whatever street class that the TRD version is in 2019.

I will be running DS for the foreseeable future, unless the car is reclassed, in which case I will likely start modding more and go STX

Will be doing most of the NE regional events and may do a few NT events

I'm sticking to DS for at least one more year. Kind of burnt out on the class changing game after 3 seasons in a row in different classes. I don't think it'll be the class for the Twins but they'll have a chance to grab a few trophy spots at least.

I was debating between staying in DS and going SSC. Ended up deciding to try getting a Midwest chapter of 86 Cup going with some friends. So now I'll be in STX with '17 BRZ suspension, SPC camber bolts, Series.Blue wheels with 215/45 GT Radial SX2s, and an oil cooler.

Budget is keeping my in DS this year, although I did pick up the SSC Koni's for this season and hopefully plan to switch to SSC late this year or the next.

17x7 +42 RPF1s
RE71r tires
Perrin 22mm front sway bar (will set to soft at first)
Crash bolts for front camber)
Q300 for a catback.
K&N Drop in Filter

Id like to purchase some Koni adjustable, but we'll see if I find the funds before race season starts.

I will have a used set with '13 FR-S springs and strut mounts available soon, if you're interested. Although I'm not sure if they'll be worthwhile when shipping costs are calculated in.
