Interesting observation... I wonder if it has to do with the MT being more fun and engaging to drive vs the AT (and therefore AT need something to make life more fun)?!

I like feeling like I'm in control and driving
I still want the SC though.

Also - how many AT's are sold in the US... I know here we don't drive nearly as many auto's as you guys do!

Are there any pictures of the intercooler inside the plenum? Is it using a traditional core or something like Laminova cores?

This may be something @Edelbrock LLC can address directly as they ship as an assembled unit.

@CSG Mike It seems everyone going FI needs to run an oil separator and they get decent accumulation. Any thoughts on the need for one with this kit?

Same reply I give for the other kits: it depends on your driving habits.

With this kit, it's easy to install the Radium setup. My litmus test is to take off the pipe between the intake and the throttle body for this kit. If there's oil there (wipe with a lint-free rag or tower), then you probably should get a catch can. Alternatively, if your MAF is constantly getting dirty, you probably need a catch can.

Remember that catch cans also increase the possibility of a vacuum leak, so install carefully.

I'm waiting for someone to do a Dual Radium setup with this kit....

Tell you what, first person to volunteer, we'll make a special deal on it.

A couple weeks back I had looked at both of my crank case lines. I found the PCV valve side to have a nice residual oil layer in the hose, but the driver side crank hose leading into the intake was bone dry. I still would like to pull the filter box lid, but taking all those screws out is kind of a pain.

I just had a chance to put my single can in over the weekend. I opted for the universal can because I wanted to mount it in the extra area near my small battery setup, and was not 100% that the Radium bracket would not interfere with my hood struts.

I would say yes. The PCV pathway always had oil accumulation on my car even before supercharging. The concern I have now is I don't want oil to coat and gum up the heat exchanger that is inside the supercharger plenum. This was a problem with the R53 MINI Cooper S's back when I had one.

Here's what would have been coating the inside of the E-Force if I didn't have the catch can these last few months:

Probably not a detrimental problem, but I chose to keep one on when I went supercharged to avoid the possibility of having an issue in any case.

Catch can it is. And now I'm gonna check my hoses out of curiosity when I do the oil change this weekend.
