Greetings all. I’m an original owner of a 2013 FRS. Have been running a Delicious Tuning E85 Flex Fuel package for many years along with full header / exhaust and I still love it. The car has 33,000 miles on stock motor. I’ve always wanted more power, however, and the Edelbrock has always looked like it had the most potential. My question is, on E85 Delicious dyno shows well over 400 whp and a massive torque bloom. Is this a realistic expectation from this kit with their Flex Fuel kit utilizing only stock fueling?

Every car is different and dubious vary but from what I've seen and felt in my car stock block and stock pulley will get you around 270ish on 93 and 320ish maybe on E. And even at that point they recommend a fuel pump upgrade and injectors. IIRC you might be able to squeak by on 93 with stock injectors but will need to upgrade if you want to utilize ethanol with the SC. So looking at that graph I'd hazard a guess that green is stock, blue is stock SC kit, and pink is built motor and smaller pulley. |

Of course, I would want to utilize my Flex Fuel setup with this supercharger and their tune for it. Is there any danger with that if I don't upgrade the fuel system?... or is it more a matter of not hitting numbers as crazy as those? I'm pretty sure 300+ hp would put a huge smile on my face.

You should start with just the kit and larger port injectors, along with a good tune and perhaps a MAP relocation kit. You'll need a clutch if you're a MT. |

That’s my biggest question. When I made 550 whp on my k20a2, I had 1000cc injectors, a circulating fuel system and an in-tank plus an external fuel pump. I was just wondering how they achieved their numbers since no other info was provided. Would larger injectors alone be sufficient? Also what’s the next point of failure on this engine? Throw a rod through the block or headwork to repair a rocker/spring issue?

Likewise, stock FA20 injectors can do basic boost, but not with E85. The injectors get you fueling overhead to deliver enough fuel. The weakest link will always vary with setup. |

Yes, but the ID 1050X has a nicer spray.

As for injectors, I would also recommend ID1050cc as Mike stated, as this will give you head room with the direct injectors. The DW700cc injectors are good for most applications to about 380hp. If you want reach out to us at sales@delicioustuning.com. Thanks, William |

I've officially joined the Edelbrock crew! Thanks for the feedback guys and thanks to @DeliciousTuning for the help with parts and tune. I'm super excited and will drop some pics when the kit goes in!

So I’ve got the fueling setup worked out. Now I’m wondering about spark plugs. On the k20a2 setup, I do run a colder plug than stock, but the power (and cylinder heat) is significantly more than will be with this supercharger setup. It still seems like it may make sense to go perhaps one heat range colder than stock. Do you guys recommend this?
