Seems that's out the window now, better masterbation is what's in.
Completely unrelated note: A supercharged Elise just came into the dealership.

That would be ideal, but you try telling that to the kids who have kids.

Do I finance an STI or buy a BRZ (no finance, cash)? I'd be financing for around ~$10-12K.

In the end, I think it's up to your preferences. STI's are cool, more practical, faster, but BRZ's are pretty awesome, too. Whichever you choose, I'd urge you to test drive it (even if you've already driven the same model). But as to which one is best, it depends on what fits your needs and whether or not you want a car payment. 10k is manageable for most budgets, but 0 is, well, 0. Hope that helps. |

This might sound silly but what do you want/need? Do you just want the turbo power or do you need AWD and/or sedan?

What year is the STi? Besides that, it's better to owe nothing in retrospect.

Okay then... I know I'd get even more some smack talk sent my way if it was me that was doing this right now. Since WRX's are so popular over here in the northeast, I'd say screw it, I'd happily choose the BRZ over the STi. Unless there's a deal that's too good to pass up though and the STi would have to be a sedan, imo.
I'm sure you'll be happy with either car you choose. :happy0180:

I know I'll be happy either way...I just don't know what to do. In any case, while payments shouldn't be a problem payments suck and are definitely gonna make my pockets tighter.
I don't NEED anything. Either car is a luxury, simply because I could go get a Civic that gets 35mpg; though I might die on the inside. I think AWD is awesome and I loved my WRX and it's turbo power. I like having that power on tap when I need it for quick maneuvers/passing. I'd also never get a sedan STI, 5dr only. I'll be honest when I say it's probably too much car for me; I was HOPING the BRZ would get me into autocross, but the actual possibility of that is low. |

"Severely beaten and partially blood-blind in my left eye, I slowly trembled to my feet. There wasn't much hope I'd be able to fight toe-to-toe with The Obelisk. I had to try and help Saera regain control of her mind, 'Saera! I know you can hear me-- that you're still in there! You can't let The Obelisk control you!' The Obelisk grinned wide with malice, 'What choice does she have, human?' Although, suddenly Saera fell to her knees and screamed, 'Will! Run!' That was all Saera could say before The Obelisk silenced her, 'Enough, you wretched creature!' He rose back to his feet and taunted, 'Running will do you no good, human. Your only duty now is as a skeletal table in my throne room.' Saera had lost her fight against The Obelisk, and with his focus newly unhindered, he turned his sights toward me.''' - William B. Hendriks, White Rook III: Exodus
