I was hoping for 22k.

With 24k, I'm expecting a price of 16k in 3-5 years. (I Hope)

I'm really upset, i'll take my anger out against my opponents in my Lacrosse Game instead of arguing on the thread.

......Man I'm mad.

I hope I did it right. I just based the Scion dest fees based on what others have mentioned on here. If they are off, please correct them.

If the FRS comes with Bespoke, then it's an OK price (about $700 more than I was expecting as of last month).

I'm hopeful it'll be less. The BRZ Premium doesn't have nearly enough features to justify an extra $2800.

I think people that were truly expecting anything less than 23k were fooling themselves. The whole notion of being 2-3k high is ridiculous imo. Most all the rumor mill churned out was around 23-24k, and all the optimistic people that said 22k were just being hopeful but to turn around and be outright angry with 24k seems a tad silly, especially looking at those market comparables.

Everyone is going to be in for a real pain in the balls when they find out there will be a "real market value adjustment" slapped on these by dealers like there is with every hot new car. It could be as much as 4 grand. It certainly will be on the limited availability BRZ.
The difference between 22k and 24k (2k) is roughly $35 - $40 per month, (assuming financing for 60 months at 5% - 8%) depending on interest rate.

For a lot people $40 a month matters a fair bit in a car payment.

Agreed. Here's how I put this to rest for myself. I looked at TrueCar for all cars between 22,000 and 24,200. Are there a couple of cars in there I would buy? Yes, but not to fill the same mission as this one. They meet my "needs", none meet my "wants".

There are no "sports cars" and really only one muscle car (Dodge Challenger SXT at $24K even).

I don't see a single car in that bunch that (potentially) looks like it will drive and feel like this one, IMHO.

I hope they dont skyrocket the price of the brz. I'd rather have a used bmw 1 series at the 30k range :[

Too much to read on this thread. Got to page 5 and skipped over to page 23, hahaha.

And I'm sure someone mentioned this between page 6 and 22, but looks like the BRZ Limited will be priced even higher. If it is priced above $27k then I'm switching my order to a Scion, I don't mind since they will drive similarly. And on top of that, I can get TRD parts installed at the port, hahahaha!

At least my dealer here at Chaplins Subaru in Bellevue called me today to tell me that they will get a BRZ show car this Saturday. FINALLY!!! I get to see and feel what "I might" get. So anyone in the Bellevue WA area, you can finally see a BRZ from Saturday to Monday (24th - 26th).

Sales guy says "pre-production" model so no test drives. Just sit and feel. I'll be taking pictures of course.

FRS= $24,930 to $24,985 (depending on destination fees)

What was your question again?

Edit: Once the GC stock gets up to meet demand, can easily get a GC at invoice or +100-200. So knock off ~ $1000 from the MSRP for real world pricing.
You have to compare the R-spec 2.0t genesis coupe because it has the better suspension and LSD plus 19 inch rims and tires.

You also have to compare the mustang V6 with the $2000 performance package, it has the LSD and 19 inch rims and tires and better brakes. Around $25k msrp.
